Love how people are more concerned with their armchair analysis of Harden's interest or passion, rather than the tangible problems with the teams such as defense, shooting, and coaching adjustments.

People won't be happy until he's putting up 36/10/9 and yelling at all of his teammates.

The problem in this series is Deandre Jordan. Clippers can afford to leave him 1v1 with Dwight and not send a second man. Also makes Harden obviously hesitate to drive to the basket. It's stagnating the offense. No coincidence the team tends to go on runs when he's out, the offense flows as it should.

It's not to have people actually bring up the numbers. People are ready to write off Hardens performances when he isn't averaging 35 points 13 assists and 10 rebounds (given that the team is losing the series)

Harden most definitely needs to be more assertive in the 4th though. That and our team needs to realize that every possession is important. No taking time off or giving up on plays. You do that for 48 minutes and you'll find yourself in a +10-15 point swing easily

He did get it because he was an outrageously efficient scoring playmaker who limited turnovers. His efficiency is way down from his season number. He's really been worse across the board. Hardens efficiency this postseason is better than Currys efficiency in the regular season.

I'm glad we finally got this through.
Some expect of Harden to deliver as much in playoffs as he has in regular season. Unfortunately other teams don't wait for Harden of regular season.

It looks like Harden is losing faith in his teammates outside of Dwight, Corey and Probably Clint. I mean wouldn't you if your teammates are constantly bricking shot after shot after shot.

CP3 blows by Terry, Dwight comes to help, CP3 Misses, Blake/Deandre gets rebound/putback. Jones is standing not doing anything, Wash rinse repeat. Harden is definitely trying. But its only so much he can do and he's starting to realize it. I am too. I'm expecting Harden to put his foot down and put pressure on management to get him a PG in the offseason. MAybe a new coach too, Scoot Brooks is gone, McHale should be next TBH

Reddick owns harden stop defending a guy who scores in garbage time and could care less about losing!

better idea: we keep rooting for our team and you stop posting.

Reddick's "ownage" of Harden means Harden is shooting just as efficiently as ever.

His defense has been stinky, and his teammates have been stinkier. Wretched.

If you want a transcendent superstar who can take over any playoff game, you better go root for Lebron. He's the only one in the league right now, and even he can't always flip that switch.

    But get off our bandwagon.

he's playing better than last year. but if you want to beat the clips in a series, you have to play better. he's the star and the person they call MVP.

Does that account for him playing for minutes or giving up on the defensive end?

He was easily an MVP caliber player throughout the season and is still playing like it.

People seem to think that the MVP is this character that can single-handedly take over games every single time and put up outrageous numbers to secure a win. No player in the history of basketball was dominant in every single game they play. Not Wilt, not Jordan, not LeBron.

Harden isn't a deficit to this team. Howard and Harden are playing incredibly well. My only complaint about these two players is that they don't have the energy to do it in the 4th. We need to see players step it up through the first 3 quarters and let Harden/Howard finish it off.

d12 wasn't given the ball enough in the 2nd half of our last game even though he's been the best player.. i've seen harden long enough to know that he is deferring the ball to other people to much. he does this and lacks the killer instinct. the problem with harden is looks for getting hacked. you can't play that way when the refs aren't on his side.

i agree. our bench isn't doing anything. x factor smith 7pts last game. not going to cut it against a clips team that dethroned the defending x champs spurs.

Right. Smith really needs to get focused and start making the shots he is suppose to make. Against the Mavs that little drive to the middle of the court and floating it in was money. He has been really bad at making those this round. Oh well. Lets hope he gets it going
