Yao's best quarters are 1 and 3. His 4th quarter stats are significantly worse than his other quarters.
if we didnt have yao, the blazers would have had a field day on our undersized centers oden is not soft like gasol
Dude, if we got a fairish back up C, if yao only needed to play 30~35 mins a game, if yao could store more stamina in the fourth quarter, he will be a beast. keeping a tired yao on the court is killing, adelman knows, but he has no idea
Some of the Clutch Fans are the most stupid and cold blooded fans I have ever seen in the world. When you complain Yao's injury, please think about the difficult time the Rockets had suffered during the past two seasons. Last season, a horrible start, T-Mac's injury, locker room problems... It was Yao who carried this team and got a 5 win streak and then 12 wins of the 22 win streak. After the Rockets got of the swamp, Yao was down. This season, again, T-Mac's injury, lock room problems, trade of starting PG. But now the Rockets are fighting with the Fakers in the 2nd round playoff. Please remember Yao contributes his all to the Rockets during the hardest time of the Rockets in the past two seasons. Yao could avoid his injury if he did not do this. For Yao and all the other players who have been fighting hard for the Rockets, YOU ALL, CLUTCH FANS, WHO REALLY LOVE THE ROCEKTS, DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO COMLAIN, BUT ONLY TO LOVE AND SUPPORT. The trade and contract issues are only for the management!
no its not. the celtics would not have won a champion ship off allen, peirce, and garnett alone house, davis, rondo, posey, powe were the ones to step up to make that championship possible
Let's get one thing straight here guys... Yao Ming is going no where unless HE wants to go. If he leaves, it'll probably be back to China, I doubt he goes to another NBA team. Let's not over exaggerate Yao either... our best player when everyone is healthy is still Tracy McGrady. So, let's not get carried away with saying stuff like he lead this team to the 2nd round, that's completely false. A complete team effort, though most of the credit has to go to Shane/Ron in the Portland series.
Who is that guy in the bold? Never heard of him. Yao can leave if he wants to. I doubt it though, he's honestly just too loyal to his team especially the Houston Rockets. T-Mac is long gone in 2010 though, I'll tell you that.
well, people around here seem to think Yao won 50+ games by himself and beat Portland also by himself.
I am completely for trading Yao. I just don't think other teams would be willing to trade enough for him.
exactly, you need your role players to step-up during the post-season just as or more than your superstars your superstars cant do it by themselves...look at the blazers. roy and aldridge were consistent but the rest of their team didn't show up during the playoffs which is a reason why they were knocked out of the first round by us a championship is a team effort
Ok... Did you not read Bimathug's thread? It's hard to admit Tracy McGrady is a better player than Yao when you are a YOF.
Sorry, I'm a Rocket fan since the 90s. I've been here since the Clutch City Rockets. Been here before you got your T-mac sneakers. I'm sorry I have a different opinion on Yao and Tracy then you do. How boring would it be if we had nothing but the same opinion anyways?
