I've been pretty openly against Hinrich but I want a PG upgrade somehow. Hopefully, that somehow will be a practical move but I still think it's quite evident that PG is still our weakest position even without the McGrady Circus.

I have a feeling a Bobby Jackson-style move will be made (possibly Earl Watson) but I must admit Hinrich is extremely tempting if he can return to his 2006 form. Of course, there's no guarantee of that otherwise I would be pimping this deal like there was no tomorrow.

You're right, and I think the observation you and a few others have made is spot on. Without Tracy, Rafer can be a more natural point on this team, rather than a shooter. Maybe he feels more comfortable in that role. It will be nice for him to have Artest or Wafer running the break with him instead of Tracy trotting back.

Well, that's about the same difference when you compare Kobe Bryant and Tmac. You cannot say Kobe isn't a massive upgrade over Mac. Mac is worse because he is weak mentally, Rafer is worse because he is weak talent wise.

rafer is still too streaky with his shooting, rockets should still try to get an upgrade over rafer but not Hinrich (or more specifically his contract)

You forget to mention the majority of rafer's shots are WIDE open. Imagine how much better Hinrich would do if all his shots were wide open or it meant one less player that would leave our pg wide open to go double team another player. It would open up a great deal of court space. They're basically giving this guy away. Cmon Morey my man, get it done. We've suffered with Rafer long enough

I'd only do it if we get TT and/or Sefalosha. Heinrich is just not worth the 10 mill he's earning. If he was that good the Bulls certainly wouldn't be as crappy as they are now

Hinrich is not really a money ball type player is he? Thus seems unlikely Rocket.

Hinrichs contract calls for a decrease in pay every year until the end of his contract. In 2011/12, the final year of his contract, he will make 8 million. That is not bad at all for someone that is currently 28 years old.

If he gets the shots Rafer is getting, he'll hit 40% from downtown.

Obviously, giving up Artest for Kirk would be a silly move. If we can somehow pull him for someone else on our team not named Scola or Yao, I'd be all for it.

For all the Hinrich haters out there you might want to check the Bulls vs Bucks game tonight he is owning the Bucks and is 5/6 from 3.

If Bulls want Tmac...shoo, i'll send his azz for Hinrich too. Hinrich is a hell of a player...did you see him defend the best player on the other team?? Amazing. I didn't even know he has sick defense.

He would thrive here. I would even take r****ded Larry Hughes with Hinrich for T-craps contract. Morey come on man!

Say NO to Hinrich unless it's for luther head x 4. We don't have enough bad expiring contracts that add up to Hinrich's 10 million.

Hinrich isn't a bad player, but on this forum he is definately overrated. he's not the solution to all our problems and he's barely an upgrade at point for over double the money that Rafer makes.
