I was there, section 426. Great game, whoever the 4 girls were that sung the national anthem did a great job. Pregame intros and crowd were electric. There is always going to be ebbs and flows are far as the crowd cheering loudly. Everyone really picked it up in the fourth quarter, the "defense" chants were incredibly loud near the end. Another great game. Its so awesome to see everyone was all decked out in red Rockets garb, like Rockets nirvana, beautiful site. I love my Rockets and all our great fans. Lets keep it rolling Tuesday night in Portland.

    And that right there is why you cheer . . . ALL . . . THE . . . TIME!

That was the loudest I have ever heard Toyota Center. The seats were filled way before tipoff and at the start of the 3rd. It was so intense.

They were giving out Von Hawks before the game.

Hehe, I was in that section about 6 rows behind that guy in section 114. The crowd was pretty hype I thought. Standing pretty much the whole 4th quarter. I was an awesome game to go to, close but I never felt like we were gonna lose....

Funny thing that happened was after a made shot, this guy in front of me was Hi-5ing everyone around me, including me... I went to the game with my friend and he was jumping up and down and tried to give the guy a hi5, all of a sudden he turned around and left him hanging (i guess he didn't see him?) , it was hilarious but I guess you had to be there....

The crowd was disappointing at the start, but the chants of "DEFENSE" in the fourth quarter were seriously the loudest of any basketball arena I've ever been in. It was deafening. The fans did a great job.

I was at work listening to the game on the radio. The final 30 seconds I just sat motionless staring at the radio. That was intense.

Not being argumentative, but that's a different impression I got from watching the game. I agree the 4th was loud once we climbed back into it, closed it to one when they called a timeout to keep the momentum, it immediately died again.

I can show you the screenshots from the DVR showing camera side lower bowl 50%-60% full at the start.

My cousin and I went to both games. We were screaming our lungs out from section 402 last night!

Whenever they had the spurts (Von Wafer's 3s in the 1st half or Shane's 3s beating the shot clock) and 5 minutes left in the 4th, the crowd was very loud. For you guys who watched it on TV, YOU HAD TO BE THERE. The chants of DEFENSE was louder than I have ever heard it at the TC.

This year's vibe is so much different than the previous years. I think having the monkey crawling off our backs has changed the mood of the Rockets crowd. I think that's why it was very loud and everyone is feeling a sigh of relief to finally see the 2nd round.

I will upload pics very soon.

Winning that game and going up 3-1 is FREAKING AWESOME!

    BRING ON THE FAKERS!

I was there for both games this weekend. The crowd was amazing.

Game 1 of the 2007 Playoffs vs the Jazz and Game 3 of the 2004 Playoffs vs the Lakers would be the only ones that compare.

There are pictures above from before the tip. It was completely full.

Of course it didnt stay loud the entire time, but late in the 4th was the loudest TC has ever been.

Yeah it was loud but it wasn't the loudest. The loudest I've ever heard it was when we played the Celtics going for 23 wins. Well the first 2 quarters were, then after that is got kinda of blurry, all I remember was anger then me chocking a hobo outside while he was sleeping on a bench blaming him for the Rockets losing. But great crowd in the 4th.

One of the best games I've been to was Game 6 against the Mavs. They passed out those boom sticks all over the arena, and it got very loud...and being upgraded to sit in the Tundra Zone was pretty awesome too. :D
