More republicans trying to distance themselves the candidate they supported and voted for, trying to place the blame on people that neither supported nor voted for Trump. Telling.

 

What? At no point did he say every voter for Trump was a racist. At no point did he claim every tea party member was a racist. All he did was ask why racists can't be called racist? There are racists that are Trump supporters. There are racists that were in the tea party. What was wrong with calling any of the people in those groups that did racist things racists?

 

There are racists that voted for Hillary and Obama.... so what?

 

So only people on one side are acting like anytime racists that support their candidate get called out for being racist, they get upset and claim that not every Trump supporter was a racist.
