No, because I live in Tennessee. However, I wanted to tell you, synergy, el toro, Palmray, FranchiseBlade, peleincubus, etc that the Cure is going on tour around the end of July with a tour called "Curiosity". Interpol, Mogwai, and Rapture will be with them.

They will be in Nashville (an hour from where I live) on the 28th of July and then in Spring, Texas (which isn't that close to Houston?) in mid-August (it is on their website).

Obviously, this concert is worth going for the Cure alone but the fact that Interpol will be there makes it a must-see for me. So far, it looks like I will be going alone but maybe one of you guys need to make a road trip to Nashville and meet me there.;)

That is an amazing lineup ~ I can't believe all of those bands are playing one show.

I hope they come through Austin.

    Jawbreaker - Unfun
Death By Stereo- Into The Valley Of Death
Vince Guaraldi - Mix of his best stuff cdr. Amazing.

Is this Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillionin in Spring, Texas or Woodlands, Texas?

I've never been there and was kinda confused at where the concert is going to be. I always thought the Cynthia Woods was in the Woodlands.

I thought it was the Woodlands, but Spring is right there, so it's all the same. 45-N: all you need to know.

How is this CD? Does it come close to the brilliance that was "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot"?

In my car stereo CD player are live recordings made on my Sony Net MD of my blues band's (Dukes of Houston) gig last Saturday night at the Lumberyard Smokehouse in beautiful downtown Sinton Texas.

It's different. Darker, not that tape-loop kind of sounds that YHF had. It's more hypnotic and not as "catchy" as YHF. I have a still a way to go until I get it. But damn, It's a helluva a record again.

Since so many people like the Queens of the Stone Age I am wondering if you guys have ever checked out:

    Eagles of Death Metal?

It is Josh Homme's new project and I like it even better then QOTSA.

Did anyone else like it or know it?
