he's playing with absolutely NO effort today, i can't stand it.

When you let Peja beat you down the court off a steal, you're clearly just being lazy.

    he must be tired.

Winning 22 in a row might take some effort.

You mean a team build around one player and a bunch of good Role Players?

    1993 - 94?

Good God he is shooting 30% over the last 3 games. What the hell is wrong with him? I wish he could play like he did at New Orleans a while back every night.

Tonight he is playing with no effort whatsoever. Either he needs to change or Adelman needs to draw up something different.

Maybe if McGrady was the player he used to be - not now.

    3 years too late.

jesus.. you guys make so many ****ing excuses.... Besides the two games when Mcgrady played 48 minutes, almost every other game, the Rockets had a comfortable lead in almost every other game.... He averaged 22 pts and 6 assists on average amount of minutes during the streak.... How is that stretch different from every other 22 game stretch any other player in the league goes through.... Just because the Rockets won 22 doesnt mean Mcgrady exerted more energy.

we have had 12 games without yao, and in the last 3 or 4 of those he has played terribly.

doesn't fight over screens, forces poor passes and causes turnovers. i've only seen a couple effective drive-and-kicks off a double, but i've seen way more turnovers off the double team.

Who really thinks TMAC gives 100% every night? I think that's the problem that many people who blame TMAC for losses have. I cant remember of a recent loss where I thought TMAC gave his best effort and we still lost.

anyways RA shouldn't be playing TMac 40+ minutes a night, make some rotations and let him catch a breather with luther or someone in the 2 spot

Would Scola ever say he's? Scola is scrapping EVERY play. And he's supposed to be a leader.

dont worry guys. Tracy McGrady is just tired. He just needs some rest, maybe a an early playoff exit and he'll be all good and ready for next season.

The OP can eat his words now after another heartless outing of TMac.

I do not mind if RA sit TMac for whatever excuse/injury for the next two games. I can almost see TMac play like the past three games for the next two. In that case, Rockets may have a better chance to win playing Luther. I mean no matter who you are, LBJ, KB or anybody, if you give little effort, you are hurting the team.

Anyone noticed that after the streak reached 21, the second best in history, TMac's efforts dropped dramatically. Motivation problem?

WOW - I am calling my boss in the morning to tell him I need some rest -- and I don't get the summer off.

hes playing. he could easily request a game off or two if he didnt want to play. If people try to compare him to lebron or kobe, or any superstar that can carry an entire team for a quarter or an entire game for that matter, they ar setting themselves up for a big disappointment. I am simply glad hes playing and healhty.

Why didn't Luther play more if TMac did not want to be on the court?

Don't be surprised he'll pull another injury if you lose the next 2 games.
