I didn't want the Rockets making the playoffs at all. They don't deserve it after having such a crap of a season.

Even the experience of getting blown out by 40 points 4 straight games can be valuable. Losing to Portland is the primary reason we were good on defense last year. There is maybe a 90% chance that the impact of more playoff experience on our superstar James Harden and a few teammates will be more valuable than a late lottery pick.

Fans always overrate NBA draft picks. We got more from outcasts in China than our picks from last year.

    Repped!

Morey's 1st Round drafting has not been stellar, I was thinking we could have used that pick as a sweetener to take a bad contract off our hands (cough cough Sewer cough cough).

You're one of my faves on here, but most fans didn't think this team (based on how they've played this entire season) deserved to make the playoffs.

I have never, EVER seen a team so highly touted take such a nose dive in performance in any professional sport in my over 50 years of watching professional sports.

I honestly think that once swept, this team will be grateful for the chance for an early escape to Cancun.

    They. Just. Don't. Care.

No, but see, free agents will now want to join our team, because ... (?) ... playoff embarrassment is a great recruiting tool. Wait, what?

Getting blown out is making you happier??? You're dumb as hell if you really believe that.

Yes I enjoy watching playoff basketball with my team playing. Go figure.

Rockets are my team as well, and they are stinking up the joint. They didn't deserve to make it...we'll simply agree to disagree.

This is the thing. We could have used the first round pick to jettison Brewer and his contract to another team. That first round pick could have been useful.

Agreed, THAT is why I felt that pick would have been useful for getting Brewer off this team, similar to sending Lin to Lakers.

Fine. But it's still annoying to taunt your fellow Rockets fans with a thread like this in the middle of a tough game.

The thread was not meant to annoy anyone. This thread was intended to vent my frustrations about a game where nothing has gone right at all.

I love how fans is in "" - as if wanting your team in the playoffs makes ya a fake fan.

I rather see the team get blown out 4 games then get a dumb 12 pick in a weak draft which isn't going to change the trajectory of this team.

Getting destroyed by the Warriors will dispel any illusion that this team can be competitive with the typical summer moves Morey will make.

This team needs better coaching, leadership, and better kinds of players that mesh with Harden.

Must be an agreement. "If Rockets get embarrassed, we are going to collect our toys and leave early to beat traffic."

You did not vent. You attacked fans that wanted the team to make the playoffs.

I bet you didn't say that to Texans fans in January.
