Thanks (I guess) for that compliment. Anyone that paid attention to this particular team knew the deck was severely stacked against them. Even with the "0-0 again" that the playoffs are before Game 1 begins, this team's lack of chemistry and defensive effort would be their main downfall. Go complain somewhere else on the forum since you're so upset at this thread. OKAY???!!!!!

That is a more exciting subject than talking about 73-9 seasons or an overall 3 pt record.

There's a clear difference between a playoff team and lottery team, that's why you make that distinction. What do you mean "nothing"? That playoff sweep could be the difference between getting a Durant or a Horford, from their perspective being a top 8 team in the West is better than a top 9 team in the West. As a free agent, your concern isn't whether the team has young talent who can help you down the line, both Horford and Durant are in their late 20's already, they want to WIN NOW and a 12th pick is 2-3 years down the line being respectable. You talk about Cleveland, how much did they improve from Wiggins? He was a total non-factor, even the player they got from is perpetually injured and has been outplayed by TT so far. The real reason Cavs improved is because LBJ went back there, and he only did it because he has ties to Cleveland. If he was a regular free agent would he go to a team that has one guy who can contribute and a total rookie? I doubt it, he'd have stayed in Miami and just gotten more FAs to work there. So you can see here a lottery pick for a team trying to compete is not as valuable as increasing the attractiveness of your team to FAs, and a playoff team even though you are last is more attractive and competitive than a playoff team. As they say, in the land of blind men the one eyed man is king.

GSW is the best regular season team ever in the NBA, they have a good chance of sweeping any team in the playoffs so getting swept by them if it does happens isn't a big deal, even OKC and Clipps can't say for certain they can win 1 game from them.

    There's a clear difference between a 9th seed and the '14 Wolves.

A 9th seed that went WC the previous season.

Morey could package the pick.... same thing he did to get Beard.

    Okay... enjoy the playoffs

Roslolian, how do you think the West (and East) fairs against Curry-less Warriors?

Thank God we made the playoffs showing FAs how off-the-chain we are!!!

Had no intention of bumping this thread, but losing minus-Curry embarrasses the city.

    Don't blame the messenger

You really believe we will get Durant or Horford?
