    I'm always for trading unproven pitching for proven pitching...provided the guy coming in isn't too old and overpaid, and is actually proven (see Jennings, Jason).

    IMO, Patton, Albers, Burke and Scott, dont come close to getting it done. With the pitching market thin as it is, I just dont see the Astros having the goods, ( not named Pence) to get anything done. I sure hope I am wrong. Plus, even though D-train's numbers declined, he is a proven commodity.

    Yes...he's proven that he has thrown his arm out. He has proven that he can go out there and hurl a 5.17 ERA.

    If we go out and make a big trade for Willis, a lot of the people screaming for us to get him are going to be the first ones to call for Ed Wade to be fired when Willis has an ERA approaching 6.
