Great! I will email you the pictures that the sellers took...we only left kitchen, study and living room colors alone. I will take pictures of master room and the game room later this week. I wanted to make the gameroom to be Aggie, UH and Rockets themed because as a Rockets fan, I gotta have some Rockets stuff in the room! :-D I really want this pool table but it's crazy expensive! http://www.pooltablesusa.com/houston-rockets-pool-table/
That's so much fun! I don't know how crafty you are, but you could get some of those light stained or economy ones and do some Rockets stenciling on it. I love refinishing stuff so stenciling has become a habit.
Oh that would be a lot cheaper if I get an economy pool table and do stenciling. Good idea! The question, where would I get the Rockets stenciling stuff though?
You can make your own. They have "blank templates" at the store (I typically go to Home Goods or Michaels) and you can copy your own design onto them. Then you just use an Exact-o knife (they are really cheap and I used them all the time in college and when I was doing scrap booking) and cut along your pattern. You would probably need one for each letter, though there may be letter ones that you can take the template and adjust to make into the Rockets font. I haven't checked letters in a while so you may be able to find something suitable. You wouldn't be able to do it on the actual table, but the frame could look really nice. You know, now that I think about it, check to see if they have any bumper stickers or such that simply says Houston Rockets at the Rockets online store (not the one through the nba but the one on the site). They might have something that you can use to make the template.
I knew I liked you when I met you. Really, thanks. I'm still deciding, and your vote of confidence gives me confidence. I'm not one of those people who stresses out about a bad haircut anyway. If it turns out to look notsocute, I'll pull it back in a ponytail until it's long again. I do like long hair, how it looks. My hair is just soo damn thick and its hard to mess with. Meggo--I reflect everything Hayesfan said about color. My sister decided to go back to her roots (light brown honey color) and she dyed her hair back to approximately the color of her roots and it looks fantastic. I dyed mine a bit darker than my natural color and since then it has faded and blends in quite nicely. FYI -- this is where I am thinking of having my reception. It's called the Patrician in Rice Village. Anyone ever hear of it? It looks pretty cute, and according to someone my dad knows, it was about $25 a head for food, entertainment, everything really, and according to Jeremiah that's pretty good. I wish I could read some reviews. http://www.texasbnb.com/
OK Then I might just go and dye my hair tonight.... At the risk of being photochopped to high hell, I'll see if I can't post before and after pics... Also, my aunt and uncle went the BnB route for their wedding and reception. It was an awesome experience. I highly recommend it!
Oh man! This is cool too... http://store.nba.com/product/index.jsp?productId=399351&cp=2098372.3075129 Di I haven't looked at your pics yet... fell asleep after watching a rerun of the USA Canada game, but I will look at them tonight.
