    3-0 against Denver
    2-0 against the Clippers including a game that both Paul and Blake missed while we were full strength.

    We are currently 8-9 against GSW, SAS, UTA, CLE, BOS, WAS, TOR and 3-6 against GSW, SAS, UTA.

    Sorry, but that is meaningless to randomly take out our 2-0 record vs LAC. And DEN isn't even in the Top 10. Not sure why you'd include them. And why aren't you including OKC?

    And to put this into perspective, UTA is really bad against .500 teams. They are the outlier. Not us.

    gotcha, still meaningless imo to subtract out teams. and to do a Top 7 list without showing other team records, and UTA is probably still the worst record outlier in every measure.

    HOU 8-9
    TOR 8-10
    BOS 8-11
    UTA 5-9
    WAS 4-11

    By your measure of Top 8 teams, we still have a better record than those behind us in Win%....except Cleveland. We just aren't in the Elite class of the 3 main contenders.

    And further to the above,

    of the Top 8 that basketballholic lists, only HOU and SAS has beaten every team at least once. GSW has failed to beat both SAS and WAS.

    This whole thread is meaningless as are Morey's tweets.

    Bottom line:

    · We have to get better paint/rim defense to win a championship.

    · Harden has to get his turnovers down for us to win a championship.

    We are a second round or conference finals out and if we draw the wrong matchup we may struggle to get out of the first.

    That's true. Like I said a long time ago. We may be the best of the also-rans but we are an also-ran without improved interior defense and more diversified ball distribution that brings Hardens turnovers down to a reasonable level of around 4 average.
