    I said if we were better against .500 teams than against Top 10, then you would spin that stat. Morey is fine using Top 10...because the .500 teams change too often.

    Yes, this is true. And I don't think anyone thinks we are in their league.

    We don't have a visible problem in league rankings between Total W-L and those of Top 10, nor those of .500 really even, since IND is about to fall out. UTA is the team that is being exposed by this exercise, not Houston.

    Grumbly Curmudgeon Paranoid Delusion Conspiracist only makes points of casting dark cloud doubts over everything, and injecting element of unaccounted for "looming disaster" in need of attention. So that his expertise and "Fix-Its" to the collapsing structure appear needed.

    Plus, "Keeping it Real" is the official mantra of all miserable sourpusses with no sense of joy and humor. The point is it showing the need to get out more, get some sun or get some meds

    Admittedly they looked shabby and clueless against us. But playoff intensity is a different animal.

    Nice thread and let's not forget the Rockets had the hardest schedule in the NBA for the 1st couple months in addition to playing "pre-preason" games OVERSEAS then regular pre-season NBA games Jeesh...the all-star break helped the Rox refuel and reload BIG TIME. Lou sill getting acclimated and vice versa...to think Dekker/Ariza not Brewer/Ennis are arguably the worst players on the team now is flat out ridiculous lol

    Bulls just beat GSW and went 1 game over .500. So, your stats are already out of date, due to daily fluctuations in teams who are over .500, like I said. :p

    That means, Rockets are now 13-14, tied with Boston and 1/2 game behind MEM.

    I know it. See it every year. They get pissed at me in March. And then when we're sent fishing they're wanting Morey/MDA fired and Harden traded. Or they then repeat what I've been saying fur months. Gotta have a better defensive big than Capela and we need another guy that can create shots for others especially when Harden sits. And then they think they are geniuses after the fact that we lost.

    Not really. We've had the worst schedule so far and fatigue cost us a lot of games. Now that we're rested up and have Lou Will the Rox are actually better than their record indicates.
