I was very clear that this thread was going to be bumped with a ballpark time and date.

Threads don't get deleted... new posts may be removed or they could be locked. I think you're referring to IC2000 bumping three old Juwan threads, and my response to that was pretty consistent and clear.

To be brutally honest... with all the crap over the last year that I've had to read from people that Mike James sucks, the Rockets don't like Mike James, the Rockets don't have a lick of interest in Mike James, I'm obsessed with Mike James (and there was a lot).... I think this bump is more than fitting.

Now don't anyone be hatin' on Mike ... if you don't like Mike or his game, then you're not a "real Rocket fan". Mike is a Rocket and real Rockets fans aren't "player haters". I've been taught that over the last year. Oh, and people also thought this response was a help: DEAL WITH IT. :)

Anyone know if we're for sure paying the trade kicker? I remember reading somewhere here that James could waive it, if he wanted to get moved and it was a deal breaker. I think he should, the idiot. The Rocks were idiots for letting him go in the first place, and then balking at the trade kicker, but James allowed the trade kicker to mess up the deal, himself. I think James should waive it.

Good luck with that, I guess. ;)

Please give up. Don't respond to my posts, follow me around like a puppy dog from thread to thread (even though I barely post here at all), ect... i don't need the little group of you doing it either. I don't care bro.

Let me ask you this, you know I can't stand you and a few others (and obviously the feeling is mutual), why even bother talking to me? It leads to nothing, ever. Just a bunch of bs arguing. It's so lame. In cased you missed it, I don't even post here anymore bro. I communicate with some via email and that's it. It's simply because I can't stand people like yourself.

I just came back to check out the site and look at what happened. Same old bs. Believe whatever you want. I don't care.

I'm not going to argue it bro. To me, it's pointless. You have your opinion on it and I have mine.

You can enjoy having James back, get a little trash talk in, ect....... He hasn't worked in two places with two superstars. What I said about KG midway through the season just hit the media now. I know you like the guy but how hard is it to play with KG? Seriously, you can make an argument against TMac but Garnett will certainly be pretty tough to do. I hope he's successful because I want the Rockets to win. However, I don't have to agree with the move (although it doesn't bother me because we moved Howard but it leaves us with 0 PF's).

Well, apparently you care enough to be here, checking out the BBS, and replying in this thread.

No, actually, I have no problem with you at all. Don't care enough to have an opinion. I only judge what you post, not who you are as a person...I have little interest in that.

...and yet you're here...

A bit sensitive, are we?

Again, then why feel compelled to 'fire back' at Clutch for resurrecting this thread? I think you do care about your BBS ego, and it's hurting right now.

On a more serious note, I have no problem with you, I just happen to vehemently disagree with your pro-Rafer tendencies. Nothing personal.

Oh, and if it makes you feel any better, I've always thought MJ was, at best, an adequate player and nothing special; he's a slight upgrade over what we have in the backcourt. I just thought it was silly that anyone in their right minds could argue -- with a straight face -- that Rafer was a better option.

Yeah I can verify you've been saying that for awhile.

As for your other reply... if you look at this objectively, I mean come on - a little "told you so" is in order. I've had my fun so I'll let it go and move on. When I bumped this thread I did a search for my post ... didn't remember until after I replied that you started this thread and that's when I knew this can of worms was likely opened again. I know you're a big fan and I know you've had some good info ... I just think you let personal feelings get in the way with regard to James. I'll leave it at that.

James is not a guaranteed homerun ... if he was we couldn't get him for Juwan. But he has great potential upside ... if he did 43% and 39% (three) alone, which is what he did here in 04-05 for those 27 games, that would be a huge boost to this offense. We know the Rockets wanted him with JVG here... now with Morey taking over full-time and a completely different coach and style, for them to still go after James, it makes me more optimistic about his acquisition. We'll see.

Lol, if you only knew bro. It's ok though, I didn't fire back at Clutch at all. If you think I did, why don't you ask him instead of formulating your incorrect statements.

I don't care at all about my BBS ego. If you haven't noticed I've never tried to befriend or be cool for the sake of it. I always stated my opinion and have went at it with many long time posters. If I cared I wouldn't have done that.

I told you I was here tonight and why. You don't think I knew what I was walking into. Come on, you have to be smarter then that. Yet I'm here (and check my post history over the past few months just to prove my point) tonight when it would be most beneficial to my "BBS ego" not to be.

Not sensitive at all. I have a bad temper (that's no secret here) and I dislike certain people here. It has nothing to do with being sensitive. It's obvious what they do (follow me around ect.....even DD noticed it and the only person who stopped was SamFisher when I said it) so it is what it is.

Were we disagree is when people say "it's nothing personal". That's true to a certain extent. All the little smartass comments dropped in by a select few are personal. You're lying to yourself if you say they're not. They are dropped in to incite or belittle the other person.

Rafer might be a part of the package deal that will get Artest out of Sactown!

It's cool. I appreciate you letting KingCheetah , TigerMission and the others know what's up.

I don't even mind the I told you so. You already know that. I just know what I've seen out of Mike. Like I said, we got him for Howard so it's not that bad except we have no PF's. We'll fix that but we are still taking a gamble.

I hope James proves me wrong. I hope he left his old Rockets/Minny attitude back there and comes here with his Detroit attitude. He fills a need if he can work effectively with TMac and come off the bench and give us that lift we didn't have. I want to see what else we put together before really commenting on the trade though. I need to see what we do at the PF position, how we use our MLE, what we do in the draft, ect......

He won't. Sac wouldn't want his deal for one (they are dumping salary) and we now have our pg position were the coaching staff wants it. The only way we trade Rafer is in a big deal that nets us something we really need or want.

Now that MJ is apparently back, let's hope he can keep his big trap shut and be a team player. Hopefully he wont become Mr. Flako and conflict with anyone else on the roster.

Here's what it may be, I posted it on another thread:

Sura+Alston for Camby

Denver wants to cut payroll and they have nobody at PG.
Skip and AI would have been the hottest backcourt 10 years ago... It may still work now. In any case, George karl coached Rafer at Milwakee for three years, maybe they developed some relationship... Although Skip really sucked back then. Stay tuned, I think there is something in the works. We let go of a big-man to get a PG. Would Denver do the opposite?

If we get the DPOY for Sura and Alston that would be a great acomplishmnet... until Camby blows his knee, anyways

James is a very undisciplined player, he would have been in JVG's dog house if the Rockets got him last year. I think he will have a better chance under Adelman now.
