Any player that doesn't seem to care whether he plays in the post season or even on a winning ball club shouldn't be considered for this team. What's his motivation? If it ain't winning then what good is he in the clutch when it matters.

I stated before I listed my offer that it wouldn't be close but no way I pay more for ANY rental.

Unless he guarantees he will sign an extension of less than 9 years.

Again I know it won't happen so I'm not wasting my time

What evidence do you have that he doesn't care about winning? Just because the Angels suck doesn't mean he doesn't care about winning. Same thing could be said about SO. That Verlander guy must suck cause he played for a team for a long time and didn't win much. Tony Gwynn must have been terrible. Ernie Banks . . . what was his motivation - he didn't care about winning. Ken Griffey Jr - why did he even get up in the morning.

I've said my peace and will be quiet on the subject moving forward - but that's an incredibly dumb take.

Not as dumb as your pathetic reply at the end, I was actually with you a bit on your take as a possibility until the ending statement that shows your brash and ignorant mind when it comes to a solid reply. You almost had it, but couldn't quite put it all together without resorting to quips to make yourself feel better while trying to put someone else down in the process. Kind of like Trout at the end of each season.

Going back to the topic, some players have that killer instinct when it counts and I never see it in him. But of course that statement won't matter to someone who resorts to putting down a post because they're not bright enough to take the time to follow up first. Man, I really hope you aren't like that with your wife and kids because I'd feel extremely sorry for them to have a troll like you.

Enjoy your day, hope you learn how to make a solid post without feeling you have to Donald Trump it at the end, and maybe one day you'll come up with a way to express your thoughts better. It takes time I know, but you don't have to be a genius, just the will to want to be better.

Ok, you are right . . . maybe this will make more sense to you:

I'm rubber, you're glue. Whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you!
