It would be tinman to start this thread. His secret infatuation with McGrady runs deeper than any other poster on this board.

the funny thing is that the people on the Hangout think I posted the other thread because of Vince Young

it's easy to make people on the internet over think. The conspiracy theorists on me probably didn't even click the link or read about the event

    http://eon.businesswire.com/news/eon/20110518005612/en/footbal/vince-young/professional-athlete

AUSTIN, Texas--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Two organizations with similar missions have joined forces to ensure the youth of Texas follow a path toward success and achievement leading to the most successful generation ever. The Vince Young Foundation and Generation TX (pronounced Generation Texas) will host the “Unity in the Community” weekend in Houston May 20 – 22, a series of events that will celebrate the legendary NFL quarterback’s 28th birthday and the launch of the Generation TX movement in Houston.

“I wish Generation TX was around when I was in high school”

The Vince Young Foundation (VYF) is a Houston-based non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for all youth with a special focus on promoting academic and athletic excellence. An initiative of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board funded by the federal College Access Challenge Grant, Generation TX (GenTX) is a statewide, grassroots movement committed to creating what’s next for Texas: a culture of college and career readiness that leads to the most successful generation ever.

“I wish Generation TX was around when I was in high school,” said Vince Young. “By partnering with Generation TX it allows me and my foundation to be part of a team dedicated to encouraging and preparing students to really commit to continuing their education. I am honored to give back and be a part of launching the GenTX movement during my ‘Unity in the Community’ weekend; it’s one of the best birthday gifts I could receive.”

Using the “Unity in the Community” weekend of events to highlight their partnership, the Vince Young Foundation and Generation TX hope to galvanize communities in the Houston area and beyond to support these students, empowering them with guidance, information and inspiration to create a new future for themselves, their families and all Texans. Generation TX has partnered with Clear Channel, the Houston Chronicle, and Univision’s educational platform, Es El Momento (EEM), to help spread awareness of the movement and GenTX Day.

Tmac did enough to suggest a contender would more then likely will sign him.Boston could use him to run their second unit as would the Bulls or even the Heat.

Too bad Vernon Maxwell doesn't have a family to attend this family event with.

Speaking of mcgrady, didn't Durants dunk on Haywood, just minutes ago remind you of tracys dunk on Bradley?

I guess Tmac likes living in Houston. Gauging from this thread, none of his fans from Houston want to attend the free event.

    To quote:

It's the 3rd round of the playoffs, you'd expect T-mac would be doing something in his annual vacation

I'd be interested to go... to meet Vince Young and Rashard Lewis

I noticed that Vince invited some athletes along including those who've never won a playoff series.

That said, maybe Tinman actually made the thread to promote charity, who knows. But everyone who likes T-mac isn't a TOF, they can be Rocket fans to.

All I know is people need to stop the hate, the dudes gone now, looking to finish his career out.

I wrote all of that after people claim I created this thread to smack Tracy and his fans.

Everything I wrote is true. That link is for real, that event is for real, and I'd rather meet Vince Young.

But it's a chance for some of the people who claim to be his fans and live in Houston to meet him.

Tinman's obsession with Tmac is almost stalker-ish. He obviously has a huge secret crush on Tracy.

Tinman will probably wait for Tracy in the locker room after the charity event.

what a loser. the money is going to this great site that a TRUE ROX FAN named CLUTCH created.

you notice that not one of these lemmings known as the TOFs actually said they are going to this event.

if someone posts that Yao Ming is going to be an event for free, a large amount of Rockets fans would show up.

So what do we know about Tmac fans?

    1. they don't want to meet their hero for free
    2. they don't pay up on their bets
    3. they don't respect clutchfans

this also shows how dumb tmac fans are.

    1. they still don't talk about the topic
    2. they only care about posters who don't think tmac is some basketball god
    3. the 'well, tmac is richer than you'

Kudos to Tmac, he got paid 25 million dollars to play half a season with the Rockets.

    You are right TOF,
Tmac is richer than me and probably you.

but you realize it cost NOTHING to meet your hero. are you going?

All of it is irrelevant and unnecessary information to include in a topic about his free charity event. Say what you will, but off the court the man has been generous towards charities, movements, and non-profit organizations.

Sadly, he didn't turn out to be the superstar that everyone pegged him out to be.
