it's weird, but i feel the same way about GTA3 being better than GTA: VC. perhaps it was because PS2 was the first system i had owned since super nintendo (with playing a little smash brothers on N64 at a friend's house in between) and so the whole 3D world with awesome graphics thing just blew me away in a way that VC couldn't since i was then used to it, but it really seemed to have something VC didn't. not sure what, maybe VC just tried too hard for the image, but still both were/are incredibly fun games to play. nothing beats finding a good spot to keep the police away and then using a million weapons and just blowing the hell out of stuff until the cows come home (or the tanks roll in). and then stealing a tank and blowing more stuff up is even better. oh, and every once in a while i get around to doing a mission.
