Where's the basketball reference in it though? T-Mac to the Rack made sense because it was said whenever he attacked the rim. AB fo 3 is explainable but what does "Hey Bud, Let's Party" have to do with basketball? I get it that its from Ridgemont High but there has to be some correlation in there to use it that much.
"Hey Bud, Let's Party" is a two way road. It was freaking hilarious at first, and still usually makes me smile. Bullard just has to stop using it. Every. Single. Time. Budinger. Scores. Save it for once a game or so, and it goes right back to awesome.
I agree with you that they should only say it after a spectacular dunk or a big shot, not after every made shot...I was merely pointing out that we actually have good announcers compared to some of the teams in the league, as some people here seem not very fond of our broadcast team.
Although, I happen to like it when they say it, it seems that there are enough fans that don't like it that they should drastically reduce the number of times they say it. It will not irritated me if they don’t say it everytime Bud scores. But, I am sure that those that don't like to hear it are probable very irritated when Bull says it everytime Bud scores. (Kind of like the feeling I get when Trevor is 0 for 5 on threes and still keeps shooting.)
Isn't it obvious. Matt has the same infatuation with Chase, that Judge Reinhold had for Phoebe Cates. Very awkward situation when Chase went into Matt's office without knocking. They can't look each other in the eye anymore.
Bull's driving the Chuckwagon thing into the ground too. During the Pacers game Chuck dunked it, and Bull said something to the effect of "it must be difficult to get off the ground with those wooden wheels!" I thought my girlfriend was going to make me mute the TV.
Just like the Shanghai shake was every move Yao did in the post. Worrell is fine because he's a charming fossil, but Bullard needs to refine his art. He's an annoying homer who can draw on TV. Hey Bud, let's party was cool at first but he needs to move on.
