I'll get right on that. Can't wait to live in my $500k efficiency travel trailer with my wife and four kids.
I don't get the point of this thread. Is OP arguing that nationalized healthcare is somehow worse than what we have here in America?
It's just a poll for healthcare in America the debate is organically created like when you say 'Harden is partying' also I thought @fchowd0311 was trying to find some cheap healthcare insurance
I heard the healthcare is really good, plus don't forget you got to pay State Income Tax. Yeah that extra thing you skip over on TurboTax!
you don't fit your own assumption of Clutchfans who live Sugarland and Katy hey, they got some vacancy in Cali now and that good healthcare, time to move west!
I already live in a great state that takes care of its people in Massachusetts. California is more desirable than Texas. That's what the housing market in both these states tell me unless you don't believe in supply and demand fundamentals. Massachusetts is more desirable than Texas hence why the housing market there is more expensive. Same with NY.
lol and you say you don't believe in assumptions but you make them like harden makes trips to the strip club. Well then California must be better than Massachusetts too then . I mean, a studio apartment in Hollywood > Boston
I mean yes. Cali is known for its whether, natural landscapes with great national parks, better beaches and even has more high tech job opportunities than Mass. So yes it is more desirable. Massachusetts is also one of the most desirable. Now with the recent droughts and fires, that might change in the future.
Yes I'm sure some are. I'm sure some people from Cali have moving to ND also. And I'm sure some people from Florida have moved to West Virginia. And I'm sure some people from Texas have moved to Cali and I'm sure some people from New York loved to New Mexico. A better indicator of demand would the housing market pricing. And Texas isn't in the same league as Mass or Cali or NY.
People not wanting health insurance only relates to financial reasons, I don't have health insurance because I can't afford quality comprehensive health insurance, and I choose not to waste 200 bucks on some half-ass insurance with a big deductible. People not knowing how to get health insurance is a serious flaw in our education system considering the healthcare system we have, and that directly relates to poverty. There are no reasons to not want quality comprehensive health insurance if money isn't an issue, I'm not sure where you're coming from with this angle. There's no reason for America to not have universal coverage, and there's no reason a state as wealthy as texas should be the highest uninsured outside of coruption.
It's pretty high rent in New York City too. But you think the trend is more people moving to california from texas then vice versa?
So you don't plan on getting health care in the future? how can you predict that you will be 100% healthy in the near future or no accidents happen?
I don't predict that, I need health insurance, every person needs health insurance - or without using that term - access to quality health care. I can't afford 500 a month + copays and deductibles for basic comprehensive coverage. I plan on getting health insurance whenever I can afford it. Currently, I am just one of the tens of millions of Americans that simply can't afford health care.
You are correct that the housing market pricing is important. And how exactly are 'poor' people in California get 'cheap' healthcare and pay that rent? https://www.zillow.com/los-angeles-ca/home-values/ The typical home value of homes in San Francisco is $1,403,197. This value is seasonally adjusted and only includes the middle price tier of homes. San Francisco home values have declined -0.3% over the past year and Zillow predicts they will rise 6.8% in the next year. The typical home value of homes in Los Angeles is $788,122. This value is seasonally adjusted and only includes the middle price tier of homes. Los Angeles home values have gone up 9.8% over the past year and Zillow predicts they will rise 9.0% in the next year.
True, but members of a Rockets basketball forum ain't solving the world's problems. I mean some of us may make a difference, like that guy who built this place and lives in Texas by gathering fans together worldwide, but I think that's it.
