At 5'10", and a large body frame, her healthy weight should be between 152 and 173. At 176, she needs to lose 10 to 15 pounds to be at the optimal weight for health. http://www.healthchecksystems.com/heightweightchart.htm
What many are failing to forget is at 17, she is peaking her metabolism. What is she going to look like in 10 years?
I know I'm gonna seem like I have a fat fetish, but I'd tap latifah six ways to sunday. she's a beautiful woman
That's okay. Everyone has different taste in women. We're all entitled to our own opinions. The discussion seems to be getting a little heated. To each his own right?
I agree that she's beautiful! Just couldn't think of a better "big" girl. Not that many famous ones....
For all of you guys bagging on how fat she is I'm curious how big are you guys? Whether she is your cup of tea or not this is ridiculous trying to portray as someone who is being sick. While yes obesity isn't good for you as others have pointed out she is barely obese and as for the BMI that is a often a poor indicator for good health. Under the BMI you could have someone like Michael Pittman is obese even though he is an NFL running back. Also as pgabriel mentioned we have no idea how healthy she is. While carrying a few extra pounds isn't good its not always a sign of poor health. Y'all probably think the woman below is very unhealthy. Yet that woman holds almost all of the World Records in distance swimming and probably is healthier than anyone here.
And at what age and weight did she set those records? Did she look like that when she broke them? Just curious. I know a few pounds on the side is still considered healthy, but where do we draw the line? I for one, think it's a cultural standpoint. 2/3s of the people in this nation are technically overweight. If you went to a european country and asked people what they thought of her, opinions would not be so diverse. As for the 17 year old girl, I agree that her metabolism will slow down after time, and that if she doesn't begin to exercise and diet, her weight will continue to increase.
Lynne Cox has pretty much looked like that since she's was a teenager and even though she is her 40's now is still doing amazing feats of swimming. Last year she swam a mile in Antarctic waters. http://www.lynnecox.org/aboutlynne.htm
what did one fat chick say to the other fat chick? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . who cares......they're fat!
Let's see.....the extra fat makes her more buoyant, protects her from the icy waters she likes to swim in, and provides her with additional caloric fuel. I see she is already 61 years old though, so she's outlived the average lifespan of a sumo wrestler. I guess she really is healthy.
Ooops, my bad.....she's more like 51. Guess she still has time to prove your "healthy" assertions wrong.
