@Hey Now! Not sure if you know this, but my kid's former twitter account went viral as hell that day for responding yes he would sacrifice Deshaun. He got death threats from people and some really nasty stuff from "mEdIa" guys who cover Clemson. It was a real neat evening.

 

Death threats?!

Some people need some perspective.

Last year before WS game 2 I was on the Flippin Bats show with Ben Verlander for a segment "What would you do for the Astros to win a World Series Title" I said I would move from Minnesota.

I'm still living in Minnesota so the Stros current struggles must be the baseball gods offense at me not fulfilling my pledge to them.

 

No...he responded and said something like, "absolutely" I think he had some reasoning behind it. Man he got a lot of crap that night and was pretty upset about it. Fun night at the MadMax home.

 

Yeah I saw some of it. And given that the Stros won in 2017and DeShaun Watson isn't even playing for the Browns now apparently you are a Wizard!

 

Speaking of crazy negative fan bases. I was talking to a buddy last night who lives in NYC and life long Mets fan. He was complaining about how negative the fan base and NY media was to Justin Verlander.

While Clutchfans gets too negative at times looking over at NY it's not close.

 

Way to go out on a limb there.

 

We laugh about it now. Yeah, he had the same thought you had..."do you people actually believe I have any control over Deshaun Watson's health?" Crazy.

 

I actually was in Houston looking at properties that week so it was an even shorter limb at that.

 

Biggest thing I take from reading this all again

Scarface comes hard at anyone who criticizes dusty and he didn’t even care if the Astros won their first title

 

Let's make **** up........lol. I've been an Astros fan for around 42 years. Find a post that says "I didn't care" in 2017. I thought they would choke as most Houston teams (sans Rockets) had done since I've been alive. LOL.

I would give up CJ Stroud right now for another World Series ring

 

I won't make a choice like this ever again. Every four years us enough.

 

Honestly. So would I. The Texans have typically been expected to suck. Whereas the Astros have had sustained greatness for a while now.

 

Well I would give up Kirk Cousins for another Astros WS.

Even more so since the Vikings have been copying the Rangers and listening to Creed before games.
