Congrats RM95. I wish you luck, and hope you continue to be easy fodder for us Conservatives on the BBS. ;)

As for your question... I was going to say LOTR but I reread the question. I would have to say...

A DVD containing all of the 49ers games from the 80s, and the 90s, including the playoffs. That would be the money.

Holy Geez, VesceySux, you have excellent taste! I loved the Phil Hartman years on Newsradio. Jon Lovitz is a good guy, and a very funny actor, but he could NEVER replace what Phil did as Bill.

Of course, we all know that LOTR and The Simpsons are outstanding, particularly the Treehouse of Horrors episodes, as you have noted.

But in particular, I was noting The Cutting Edge, Explorers, and The Secret of Nimh. All of these were movies I absolutely loved when I was younger, and still love today. The Cutting Edge is a bit of a guilty pleasure, as it would be defined as a "chick flick" by today's standards, but it was a good movie nonetheless. Explorers was one of my favorite movies as a kid, and one of the sole reasons I studied hard in school (I just KNEW I would eventually figure out how to create that cool bubble). The Secret of Nimh is a great animated movie. It was back when it was okay to have a childrens' animated film that had *gasp* a scary looking villain who actually DIES in the end all the while even BLEEDING a little bit. TMNT, Power Rangers, and many other animated kids shows and movies don't have this stuff these days, and I miss it. It added a weight to the events of the movie that I really felt as a kid.

Somehow, I just don't think that sparks exploding from the chest of a huge turtle (or any other Power Ranger villain, pick one) has the same effect.

At any rate, good choices. :D

I'd also buy all the episodes of "the Kids in the Hall" and "Northern Exposure" if they came out on DVD.

I'd definately like to see the original Star Wars Trilogy (and Lynus would too).

Simpsons total series would be good. I want the complete Friends collection as well.

ABSOLUTELY Pole! I've watched every episode many times, and still catch something new. What an awesome series.

LOR will be awesome. My entertainment system is ready for that one.

That's awesome, Cohen! My sister just got the videos, and since she has a DVD player, too... I just assumed they were only on video.

    Thanks :D

I saw them on sale at Borders. I never watched the series since I had already missed many of the early ones once I heard about it. I take it that you would recommend it? I really like that part of the country (I actually visited someone in Enumclaw WA when the series was on, I recall it was filmed somewhere around there).

No sh*t haven. I'm with out 100% on this one. Blade Runner is my favorite movie of all time and see it about once a month. Not that I'm always paying attention to it, but it's on.

I would love the original theatrical version on DVD. Every time I watch it now, I've got to fill in the narratives myself. It was especially useful and entertaining during the beginning and the end.

I would also like to see some background extras on the DVD.
