What about the Israeli's that have participated in Qatar in previous events? Is that lip service? Surely you cant deny history...
What about those that wanted to follow these events but have been denied entry solely based on their passport? As to a higher-profile case in Arabia, an Israeli tennis star was denied entry into Dubai (not Qatar - Dubai, the country where Mathloom regulates) in the recent past.
And this is how you derail threads, derail topics, try to sway peoples opinion by linking it to other random events.
Random? Dubai and Qatar have been rejecting Israeli passport holders for the same reason (anti-semitism) and they have close ties. Dubai just happened to pick a higher-profile victim of this practice, while Qatar only does it to "regular people". How is that random?
About Qatar - http://www.usatoday.com/sports/tennis/2008-02-18-peer-qatar_N.htm And that bolded portion is the end of this discussion... If the supreme ruler of the country says that it will allow Israel, I dont know what anyone has questions or concerns about. Plus all this is moot, Israel is about as likely to qualify in 2022 as Qatar is in 2018.
To you, everyone from the Middle East is the same. Heck, Throw in Afghanistan and Pakistan in that group too.
That says a lot about the other Arab countries. I have already read a lot of angry discussion among Arabs is going on how Qatar can dare to let the enemy in. It is not moot, there might be fans from Israel who want to go even if Israel does not qualify.
I didn't call you gay. First of all, this is not an insult (nothing wrong with it), secondly, you said so in a thread you started. It's fine - don't be ashamed.
You really want anyone to believe that your intention wasn't malice, spite, and animosity? If not then why bother with my sexuality, especially in a thread discussing Football?
And then you say I stalk you... I should be glad you dont live in Houston. I might have to get a restraining order.
That's a big accusation. They have restrictions on Israeli entry because of bad relations with the country of Israel. To say it is due to anti-semitism is like saying the ban on American travel to Cuba is because we're racist against Cubans.
I don't see why people are so worried about Israel going to the WC, its not like they are going to qualify anyways... I think the bigger concern for WC in Qatar 2022 is not Israel, its the heat and the hooligans that come from England lol
