That was a CLEAR hand ball.

:( Sad way for things to go for IRL but now they must push and attack like someone's insulting their mothers. No way BOTH refs could miss that clear hand on the ball. TWICE, no less.

Teams SWITCH sides now. Second extra time.

Woohoo my team made it through, France is way more talented than Ireland, just havn't gotten it together though.

Its not a handball if you don't touch it intentionally....it was a fair goal.

WTF? I disagree. It changed the course of the ball's trajectory. It was touched MORE THAN ONCE. The ref is standing TOO far away from that play to see it, I give you that, but you're not going to tell me that it wasn't intentional, sir. Even if that was for my team, I would have agreed with anyone that it was intentional and should have been called, but the refs missed it. Now nothing can be done about that.

so unintentional he didn't pull his hand back and touched it a second time.

of course france is more talented than ireland. but they needed a bad call to "win" today.

Yeah I was pissed about that goal! Throughout these last 2 years France doesn't deserve to go in SA...

Just wanted to say that my second home country Algeria is qualified for the World Cup for the first time since 1986.

Congratulations Algeria Tahia el Djezair you deserve it!

No Euro team has ever won a World Cup held outside of Europe.

that was clearly a handball, especially the second noe and it seems like he pushes the ball to his feet. poor ireland.

    only 3 teams of CONCACAF.

Uh...did you see the play? If you did, there is absolutely no way you can say there was no intent. Not only should that have not been a goal, Henry should have been booked.

    Ireland got screwed.

Go ahead and start that thread, yo. You have the 32 teams already. Or should I?

We can speculate as to how they're going to be seeded.

Wonder what the odds of getting it right are?

That said I'm praying for a US grouping with New Zealand, North Korea, and South Africa.
