Gooch has a good shot at getting healthy in time. 3-4 months gets him back in late Feb and gives him plenty of time to regain fitness. He is probably one of the more important players for the Cup. His size and toughness in the back is very much needed.

Davies is looking at 6-12 months. There's little to no chance of him getting back in time. Sucks because I was sure that 2010 was going to be his coming out party, internationally.

Milan CEO is douchebag #1 now. :D What an ahole. Even I wouldn't ask for crap. What, did he think the U.S. would play WITHOUT HIM?!?!? Did he think the U.S. injured him on purpose? A-class-hole.

this thread is hilarious....All I can say is both Mexico and US are at the top of CONCACAF. That being said I'd rather see more CONMEBOL or UEFA teams in World Cup than anyone else in CONCACAF.

I only see Mex/US making it far if they end up in weak groups. Good to see Argentina barely squeeze in but they need to drop Maradona if they want to make a run in 2010.

    Brazil sexta-campeon 2010? I think so.

Weak or strong groups don't matter. Anyone can surprise you. Tell that to Portugal in 2002 (lost to USA), Sweden in 2006 (tied TRI)... there are countless more examples...

Great. Another team that I follow and root for is getting hampered with injuries

Your definitely right Brazil and Argentina would be comparable to what Mexico/USA are to in CONCACAF. However the level of play between CONCACAF and CONMEBOL is not the same.. Hence why I would rather see Uruguay than Costa Rica in World Cup.

Swoly- anyone can definitely surprise, your right. But at the level Mexico/USA is playing at the moment it be difficult for them to upset premier teams.

saw on Fox Soccer Channel that AC milan might be asking US national team for "reparations" since Oneywu got hurt during international play.

Hope FSC goes HD. I know have NBATV HD and its pure awesome!

Damn comcast is giving less reasons to drop them.

You should switch to DirecTV to get their free Champions League Mix and La Liga Mix channels. They're made of 100% pure awesome.

Il Douchebago Numero 1 is AC Milan Owner and Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi. AC Milan CEO is just one of his douchebagitto minions.

I've been debating of switching to Uverse for their promotions even though their pricing will be similar to comcast.

Only reason I haven't tried dish is because it goes down when it rains.
Is League Mix or Liga Mix in HD? How is DirectTV's HD service?

UEFA Mix is in HD. I've missed the La Liga Mix every time it's been on so far so I'm not sure but I think it's also in HD.

I have no complaints with the HD service of DirecTV but some people find it to be inferior to Comcast

Who wins if Ireland v France ends this way? They both got 1 away goal, would it go to extra time?

NO! Why would it go to extra time!?!?!?!

:p C'mon, man. Why wouldn't they? OF course it's extra time. You couldn't just look that up?

http://atdhe.net/10488/watch-france-vs-ireland <- this one is in English.

If tied at the end of 2 extra times of exactly 15 minutes, the match will be decided with 5 kicks from the penalty spot. If tied after that, it's decided from even chances.
