I watched all the games so far except the Germany Poland one so I can't speak on that one but so far it's been pretty mediocre soccer except for the Portugal-Turkey game. 2nd half of Switzerland v Czech was really good (Switz was def the better team that day but didn't get any points).

The tourney starts today though cause Holland's playing!!! No Van Persie, No A. Robben- it's going to be tough but we'll see.

It will be difficult. Since we also miss Babel we really do not have anybody to play the left midfield. Kuyt will probably play.

This will be the most difficult game this tournament, i really hope we will be able to get a draw. and at least make it an interesting game. But i'm afraid of Toni, since the dutch defenders couldn't even contain Bendtner it will be verry difficult to contain Toni, who is a much better version of Bendtner.

i caught the portugal/turkey and germany/poland matches, and i thought only portugal/turkey was good.. poland squandered some great chances but for the most part kept shooting from outside the box over and over, i didn't understand their strategy.. portugal was good but deco was playing piss poor soccer.

today's two matches should be great though, and i can't wait to watch el niƱo and la furia tomorrow!

So I just sauntered into the break room at work to watch the France match, assuming that nobody else would be in there, but there were 4 fat ladies watching Judge Joe Brown dress down a 14 year old for having kids.

Seriously? Judge Joe Brown? I'm going to go postal

You're not missing much. The Romanians are playing their version of catenaccio, but way more boring. And France look slow. Not many shots on goal.

i think 1 shot on goal so far total? and it was a easy save.. french are making good runs though, and should break one through in the second half.. romania is pretty good..

i'm watching on a little streaming window at my desk :D

Fair enough, thanks. Everyone should clear out in time for Italy-Netherlands, thankfully

agreed, but the austrian game was good. austria, well, they are not so good, croatia- we'll see, but the home team played w/ lots of heart.

France could really use Henry and Trezegate right now, they are just not having much luck creating chances to score.

Was awfully close to being offsides (when is Ruud ever onsides?) but I never ever mind seeing the Italians go down. They deserve every wrong call to go against them.

This feels weird coming from an Arsenal fan, but RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD

I'd love to see the Dutch win it if Spain can't

Awfully close? He was nowhere near being onside. The linesmen really screwed that one up.
