I am glad Turkey has not decided to play a defensive game like Italy even though they are severely undermanned.

    Love the attacking style.

Absolutely. It's keeping the Germans on their toes. Using good offense as their defense, so to speak.

Ugh, the power outage caused us to miss the second German goal.

    This sucks big time.

Anyways, seeing how Turkey has been living on the edge, it wouldn't surprise me to see them level the game in the final minutes.

At least they showed the replay of both goals. And hopefully the feed holds up for the remainder of the game including and extra time and/or pk's.

    NOOO.

Ofcourse Germany does what it always does, score in the last minute (even though they have been the lesser team during the game).

What a barn burner of a game. Lahm with the winner, prehaps. Wow, but don't count out Turkey.

What a game with all the goals and the technical difficulties.

    Commentator...

"Germans not deserving this victory whatsoever."

    LOL!

Wish we had brutally honest commentators like these for NBA.

I agree though. Germans got lucky.

It's sad how ESPN doesn't have commentators at the game, but I guess the stadium has a limited amount of booths and the U.S. isn't high on the list.

    What a game!

I'm glad Germany won, as I'm of German heritage - but I'm also glad Turkey played so well. The Turks deserve to go out on a high note and there's no way they can be seen as anything but "champs" for how they persevered throughout the tournament and played so well against this year's soon-to-be champs while missing several key players.

    I can't wait for Sunday!

Damn that was a fun game to watch, the Turks deserved to go to the finals, but hey the Germans got lucky, in the end that's all that counts.

I honestly thought the Germans were going to score 4 or 5 goals against the Turks, didn't expect this kind of game from the Turks, they took it to them....

Spain is going to spank the Germans in the Finals, book it!!

What a match, I hope the other semi is just as good.....awesome strikes in this game....

Happy for both teams....Turkey played well but more drama with Germany in the final...

Not sure who to pull for now....in the other semi...Russia or Spain...it should be fun to watch though.

No way, book it! If anyone is going to spank us, it's going to be the Russians...but who knows, maybe we pull out another victory, even though we are the inferior team...like against the Turks.

SJC what do you think about Llehman?

For some reason the germans always win a lot in big tournaments, even when they do noreally deserve it. It is just a quality of them.

This game reminds me of a dutch saying:
Soccer is a game of 11 people, and in the end the Germans win.

I think he should have retired a couple of years ago...and I can't stand him as a person. The good news is that we have a few young goalies waiting in the wings who are already better now, imo.
