It was a hotly contested game. Usually teams take about 20 minutes to get warmed up but these two teams seemed to go after each other right off the bat.

Yes I enjoyed it. I thought it was one of the more interesting games this tournament.

I think this man may have an idea as well as some incriminating items belonging to the FFF since they've been so reticent to give him the pink slip.

Also, If I were a betting man, I would have gone to Vegas to place odds on the French not getting out of the first round. The team has been *****e throughout since Euro 2008, qualifying for the WC was more tedious for them than it should have been and Crazy Ray has made a hash of the team selections throughout. He lucked out in 06 in the Zizou miraculously regained his form in time for the round of 16 and onwards and after that Zizou saved Domenech.

The Laurent Blanc era can't get here soon enough.

What a dumb foul by Klose. Also, the whole German team was sleeping on that goal. Should be an interesting game now.

I believe México will not want to face Argentina, so they will try to beat Uruguay. Either way, I can't remember the last time México and someone else got together to leave someone else out. I'm not saying they have never done this, and I don't think they will.

Oh, my goodness, Klose. Why did you commit such silly foul...? No round of 16 for you, sir.

Serbia = Swirzerland II ??

Man, that would've felt good for Germany to tie it up there. So close.

Ref getting heavily involved in this one.

I'm pretty confident that one of the Serbian players who already has a yellow card will be sent off as well.

Not sure what changes I would make right now as the coach. Possibly Cacau for Özil, Özil is having a bad day. Also, at some point, I would bring Marin (maybe for Podolski) because he can dribble into the defense and cause fouls and get one of their players sent off.

What are the card rules? How many games does he miss?

Only the last group stage game. But I doubt he will play again in this tournament, he was on the cusp of being replaced by Cacau in the lineup anyway (probably why he was overly motivated and committed these idiotic fouls).

Germany still getting some golden chances. That's about 3 of them since going down a man.

3 of 4 Serbian defenders have a yellow already - I give it about 10-15 minutes until one is sent off, with this referee.

There's a 4th chance. Needed to put that one on target.

    Ahh, penalty shot!
