You are right he was disappointing in that game. It only increased the doubt here whether he would be suited for the European top teams.
Stupid move by kaita, he should know better. This can change the game That being said he didn't even touch the guy.
Greece doesn't want to score. Clear chances have been missed by the European dudes. It is a totally different game with the send off. ¡VAMOS, GRECIA! If it stays like this, ARGENTINA will be the first team qualifying to the round of 16. GOL! Never mind. FIRST GOAL EVER for GREECE!
Both these teams are garbage... Greece just a little more. However, Nigeria has potential, they just need a better coach.
What would be more advantageous to S. Korea? Greece wins and takes Nigeria out of it or they draw and Korea still be in second?
At one angle it seemed like a good call, but it appears another camera angle showed he did not make contact with his kick. I may be wrong, regardless that was the dumbest thing a player can do, insanely dumb. Greece was looking horrible before that, their defense was in disarray.
Agreed, it was a stupid move and he deserved the red card. I just cannot stand the acting, the guy immediately stood up when he was the card. He was just waiting for the card.
But if we assume Argentina will beat Greece, if Greece beats Nigeria, all we'd (I'm Korean) have to do against Nigeria is to tie them.
Since either team would be eliminated with a lost would they just play more defensive in the 2nd hf to prevent a mistake
You'd want a tie. It's hard to assume that anyone will just beat anyone else. Argentina could easily settle for a tie and rest starters once things are in hand. By losing the way S. Korea lost, you've lost the edge on all tie breakers due to goal differentials. You're going to want to lead in the points category and just take care of business.
Actually, the game is much more exciting now that both teams have realized that a tie doesn't really help either of them. The guard is down and both teams are going for it. I like it.
