****ing South Koreans I was going to complain that the first free kick that led to the own goal was a product of bad officiating. However, there's no excusing the SK defense. I understand Argentina is a very strong offensive team, but there were very few counterattacks, which I thought would have been abundantly available. Argentina defense is not that good, and SK should have netted more than one goal. SK needs more goal scorers, more finishers. Lee Young Pyo is by far their best defender, but he's already 33 and won't be around. We need better defenders and better finishers. It seems that our midfield is relatively stable, but this was just a piss poor showing. I couldn't believe how many times there were players unmarked for Argentina. Disgraceful showing; they better come back strong against Nigeria if they want to advance
The second half's strategy from South Korea was bad. They should have packed in, kept playing their counter attack style. It turned out they were counter attacked. Once given some space, those talented Argentine players such as Messi,Higuain etc. can score on anybody. BTW, Higuain seemed to be offside on two of the goals he scored.
Thanks and good to know. Didn't notice him in the France game, he may not have played well. One game changes everything. If he has good showings in this big stage, everything is possible.
