    Koreans are so fundamentally sound.

    Kinda like their baseball team.

Nigeria is no slouch. They've gotten some great chances.

I seem to remember Maxi Rodriguez, but I don't remember why... but I remember him, sadly. :(

Can't believe some of these shots the top strikers in the world are missing.

Sloppy 2nd half. Hopefully, those shots will go in next game.

    20 shots on goal, JESUS.

Neither team has been able to score on an attack. Strikers have had descent opportunities.

    Next game prediction.

    England 2- Usa 1

Wasted chances by Argentina and they were lucky Nigeria were bereft of ideas in the final third until Martins, Uche and Odemwingie came in.

Great idea to start the "great" Gonzalo Higuain over the "so-so" striker that is Diego Milito! Not really. I feel Milito would have done a bit more damage if given the start but whateva they got the win.

That's a hat trick of victories for Messi over Nigeria.
    1- U-20 WC final
    2- Olympics U-23 final
    3-Today.

Super duper! Time to turn my attention away from the Super Chickens and onto the Three Lions!

    Two quite good games today:

South Korea is better than I had thought they would be, I expected Greece to win, they had a good qualification to the World Cup, but it seemed the Koreans were too quick and accurate in their passes for them. South Korea vs. Nigeria is going to decide who will be the team with Argentina to get past the group stages.

Nigeria played well today, they were not pressuring the ball possession, they were willing to let Argentina pass it among each other, I though that was a good strategy. Uche should have scored the equalizer. The goalie for Nigeria was amazing, he had a hell of a day.

USA vs. England, going to be a good match. USA players play better as a team, they work hard and have some decent speed. England has suspect defense so we'll see how that goes. But I expect England to win quite easily, Wayne Rooney is in top form, the guy is a beast I don't expect USA to be able to contain him.

Argentina were incredibly disappointing. No cohesion, no team movement. Sometimes they were standing around while two players were trying to score the goal.

    They need to improve fast.

Good luck USA!! I hate the English football team, I hope you guys can pull it off.

I am at least as excited as I am about a Texans/Colts game on a Sunday morning. (And like Texans/Colts...I sorta expect my side will come up short..but there is always that hope)

They are all robots programmed to have great discipline growing up as a result of integrating into their society. Always spills over into national sports.

Argentina showed large amounts of potential but Mathloom is right, there was a certain cohesion lacking going forward. Especially the poor pass selection behind guys which absolutely ruins momentum. The 1-2's and in the box movement were impressive, but it really didn't come together.

So many ego's on France... waste of paper talent.

Feeling the gameday vibe as well, best we can pull off is a tie, IMO. GO USA!
