because people like to cry when their team loses. Especially the team that keeps Kicking the US from World Cups.

Heck goaltending is counted on baskets that aren't even guaranteed to go in. you touch the ball on it's way down it's automatic.

SO... you agree that your point about removing goaltending is bogus?

FYI: there's no goaltending in the FIBA games.

This analogy is much proper for the situation.

Dude, it's an obvious goal. You want to argue that wasn't going in? Really?

Holland will destroy Uruguay. The big question is, will it be Germany, Argentina or Spain against Holland?

Yeah, just because they're different rules doesn't mean they're good rules.

Okay, feel free to submit a suggestion to change the rule with respect to that, after more than 100 years. How long have you been following soccer? Just curious.

LOL! The guy who missed the Penalty Kick was the one who scored the goal at 93' against USA, too. Don't rub it in, man. ;)

If the ball didn't cross the plane, it's not a goal. I could see it being a different story if the ball gets to the line.

Im not exactly sure what the rule is..

If Suarez doesn't have arms, it hits his face or upper chest. So no, it would not have gone in.

Whining doesn't do anything here. Make the penalty and move on. Gyan choked.

Spain is sick but the Argentina/Germany match is going to be a tough, tough game.
