Um, yes. It's an obvious goal. Why do you think we have goaltending in basketball? That would literally be like Yao sticking his hand into the rim and pushing shots out.
What about intentionally fouling to set up free throws? It's a free kick. He should have put it in but choked instead.
To me, there should be a rule where if its going to be a goal, you can use your hand purposely to disallow the goal.
So? How is intentionally fouling someone the same as cheating an obvious goal? Soccer does not equal basketball. Fouling does not equal goaltending. There was no question that was a goal. Really disappointed in how soccer polices itself.
