Failazo Komano! PKs are fun to watch as long as you're not rooting for one of the teams. Then, it becomes agony.
**** **** **** **** god ****ing damnit god **** damnit how the **** jesus what the hell godamn goddam ******* *******
I wanted Japan to go through, Paraguay plays a boring style of futball, sucks to go out like that, feel bad for the guy who hit the crossbar......he can wait another 4 years to make up for it, lol.
We have only lost one PK ever, 1976 in the European Championship finals, to the host Czechoslovakia (first PK ever). Since then, we have kicked out England, France, Argentina, etc., won 5 times. England, as opposed to that, has only won once (against Spain) and lost the other 5 times. Muhaha
BTW just wanted to say it right now, Torres is going to have a big game today, all you doubters will eat your own words...he is the one who puts Spain over the top.
I would bet almost anything on Spain winning against Portugal today - convincingly. Actually, I think I AM going to bet on that right now.
True that. I was watching the penalty round from the 06 GER-ARG quarterfinal on youtube a few days ago and the announcer (british guy) was like "well, you wonder if these guys will ever miss. It's uncanny." He sounded like a mix of awestruck and embittered. Good times.
I hate PK's as a tiebreaker. It's like having a free throw contest to determine a winner to basketball. I think what they should do is make it a 7 on 7 game for the initial extra time and making things more open to encourage goals.
