I'd put van Bommel on that list, too. And I think we are missing a guy like that on the German team. Too many nice guys.
No s***. There were some brutal tackles, but much of that was acting. That said, I wonder how the Algerians are going to treat the US players in that 3rd game when it's likely the US has to win and Algeria will have nothing to play for.
Clearly the Algerians were down in the score and resorted to dirty tackling. It reminds me of you-know-who back in you-know-when. You know I don't stand for dirty play. I would like to see the entire game and note that there are other plays we didn't see. Why do you say all that stuff about the 3rd game with so much certainty? Let's hope both teams come into that third game knowing they will own the group and play fairly.
We aren't dirty, we just didnt like Egypt.. 4 days prior to the game, we played them and our players got brutally attacked by the fans with no security present around. Why do people underestimate our team ? We just knocked out the best team in Africa out of the WC and eliminated Ivory Coast in the Quarter Finals of the African Cup Of Nations.. i woudnlt be surprised if we ended up 2nd in that group
and looking at the numbers for the last game against Gambia, all of them wore those numbers and Jonathan Dos Santos had the #24 jersey, so that means, Aguirre already knew who was going to be cut before that game?
I love Boulahrouz, he is exaclty what the netherlands needs, unfortunatly he can make a pass if his life depended on it. The funny this with that foul was that before the match began I told my girlfriend this would happen. You just knew when Boulahrouz had to defend Ronaldo that Ronaldo wouldn't finish the game. SJC, thanks for the compliment. Did you mean the EC? when Russia beat us. That was a very big disapointment. WE had the best team at the time, but Hiddink just crushed van Basten. If we had Hiddink as our coach we would have had our second EC.
Hopefully nothing more than a typical sprain. Should have enough time to get treatment and be ready in 9 days.
My heart skipped a few beats when I first read about this, especially since where I read it from it mentioned "hospitalized" before "mild ankle sprain". I hope he'll be able to play because we need him badly.
Hopefully nothing serious for Jozy. Mexico playing 4-3-3 and Italy 4-3-2-1 and Italy already threatening to score. Mexico has Perez on the goal. He won't reach the high headers from the Italians. Jaquinta almost scored already. Looking at Mexico in black and Italy in white and with the sun behind the Italians in the first half is almost reminiscent of a FIFA 2010 game where you can choose kits and time of day to play . ¡VAMOS, MEXICO!!!
I'm watching the Spain / Korea game. Guess I'll search for the Mex game online. (currently watching ESPN3.com)
You know what? I think that might be a blessing in disguise, I don't think he is as good up front as some of the other guys...he can't hold the danged ball. DD
Have both the MEX/ITA game and Kor/Spain game. Good quality stream for Italy's game: http://atdhe.net/19964/watch-italy-vs-mexico
GooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOooool!!!!! VELA, VELA, VELA!!!! From Gio! FINALLY! GIO + VELA = SCORE... like in Lima!!! This will work wonders... thank you, football GODS!
