I think Germany will beat Argentina, even though Argentina is clearly the better talent. The reason? the Germans have always been one of the most efficient offenses in soccer. They move the ball brilliantly and make very few mistakes on defense or elsewhere. The Germans always play greater than the sum of their individual talents. They also are cooler under pressure.

Anywho, Argentina with the best goal in the tournament (flashback to the best goal of the tournament against the same Mexican side back in 2006). 3 nil now.

Anyone still b****ing about the first non-goal goal? Well, get over it, Argentina is just being dominant.

The Mexican keeper looks like a fatter Telly Savalas.

Hmm, I am pretty sure Italians have had a far greater impact on Argentine soccer than the Germans. The Argentines even look Italian, it is hard to tell at times.

The two clearly better teams moved on today, so stop b****ing please.

The world will be better off for another classic Germany vs. Argentina showdown.

True, but Heinze is of German origin. Actually, since nobody seems to have realized it, thought I would mention that the neck-tat dirty guy who kicked out the US (Boateng) is also German (as in really German, he grew up in Germany and I don't think he speaks whatever Ghana's language is, only his father is from there - and his step-brother plays for Germany). Hans Sarpei (Ghana defender) is also really German, has lived in Germany all his life.

Hey, I cant hate, Germans play great soccer, so the more talent they export to the rest of the world, the better off the sport of soccer is :)

    Well said!
I never root for either of those two teams and I hate them with a passion but both are/were the better teams today.
