    There really is no excuse to miss a goal in a situation like that, honestly.

    It's a shame they didn't play with the same fire and intensity in the first half. We would surely have won. :(

    RIP South Korea.

    What's worse than watching the team you're rooting for lose? Watching them lose with those ******* vuvuvusleuseusleuseas in the background.

    Very nice goal in the 80th minute by Suarez. No keeper in this world could've stopped that from hitting the net.

    Ghana is going to be tough to crack defensively, and they're very physical.
    But they don't have Essien and they have only scored twice this tournament, both coming on PKs. We can't let them get ahead early.

    And if he did that it would have sailed over the net and you'd be calling for his head again. It was a poor attempt, but field conditions were poor; I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Besides, SK put on a strong showing, except they should have done better in the first half, and they should have kept attacking after they scored their goal. With all that momentum, they decided to sit back.

    I agree there were a few questionable calls throughout the game (what does it take for Diego Perez to get an effing yellow and how can you let someone slide tackle someone in the air trying to play a header, isn't that reckless? and finally calling the game at exactly 3 minutes when SK was attacking on one final desperate push) but they put on a great show, and I'll applaud them and hope for better next time around. Hopefully we get more stout defenders in the back

    Absolutely. Early goal gives them confidence. If we get one early, that defense won't be so tough to crack as they'll eventually have to push forward, opening them up to more and more countering, which is what we're good at.

    Exactly what we all thought. You have momentum, keep possession & pressure. You dominated a great defensive team for 30 minutes and you fall back after equalizing? Huge tactical error to me. I don't know what happened to the stingy S.Korean defense from years past; there were holes everywhere this tourney.

    Should've also went with Ahn Jung-Hwan over Lee Dong-Gook.

    Spot on. Lee, despite being tall and strong, isn't mentally tough and confident enough , also a bit stiff. Ahn would definitely scored if he were given that chance created by Park.

    Suarez, I have no idea as who he is before the tourney, came to play again;
    that second goal he scored was brilliant. He might be able to get on to a bigger stage after the world cup.

    Suarez was the leading scorer in Europe this year, all the big teams already had their sights on him.
