But what if the AR didn't see the offside and never call one? Play was going to continue ... Even if you allow the coaches to challenge, when do you stop play?
When have I whined? I don't whine. Do I want to "change the rules"? Do I want to have a call reversed? Nope.
I'm not one of you, die hard soccer fans but I like to watch soccer.. I saw this status on my FB and it made me upset...there's always people who want to rain on our parade with ridiculous assumptions. Congratulations USA fans your team purchased their way to the next round! Let's see how far their corporate sponsors will take them...is this a would be "miracle on ice" type of deal? Hmmm.
That's a funny statement considering the BS the USA team has had to endure. It's not even applicable. Bought our way out? How?
You whine all the danged time, you are whining about people wanting the rules changed. Whining about the whiners. DD
Watching the World Cup is really fun, but I don't think I can watch anything else. Soccer just has too many leagues and teams for me to just pick up and keep track of. I would love to be a fan though.
Some said "If this was the case, then what corporate sponsors paid for the refs of their games that took two goals from them?" Her answer "It's the creation of media darlings. The David vs goliath. The US does better than expected - return as national heroes - then the fans react by showing their support - companies make money and everyone is happy" I just didn't bother to answer this stupid statement. Really?
Shows how much they know about US Soccer history. The 1950 defeat of England by the US was WAY bigger.
