He still hasn't done anything this World Cup to impress anyone with the potential for football skill like everyone has promised. I sincerely don't think we need him. Gio and Chicharito had plenty of opportunities. I also want Chicharito to start. Aguirre is really starting to piss me off. Now to cheer USA on.
Sometimes it is not necessarily about scoring the goals but drawing attention away to allow others to score. Vela is a very dangerous player...and creates so many chances, just by being on the pitch. Is he back in the knockout stage? If not, I don't think you guys go on. DD
The most fun teams to watch this world cup have been Argentina and Germany, I love the style of play. Most disappointing team has to be England. I also thought Holland would be much better, they've played well, just not to the standard I thought they would be playing at. Also I'll be sold on Spain when they play a half decent team and win, they looked good last game but it was against Honduras.

This. Vela is the most creative player behind Blanco and maybe Dos Santos. He is also a great passer upfront. In the first game he didn't have anyone to move the ball up to him on his side. All the plays were being created on the right side of the field. The second game he only played what 15 min.? I agree with Franco though, I have no idea why he starts. Hernandez should be getting all of his minutes. And Guardado (my fav player btw), I'm still baffled why his not getting any time. I'm giving Aguirre the benefit of a doubt that Guardado is playing back into shape because of that minor injury he had a few weeks back.
