A simple lack of finishing seems like the bigger issue in this particular game. Between the PK and Torres alone, they should have at least 2 more goals. And there were a few other golden chances that they missed on, not through overpassing, but just by not finishing.
At least they've put themselves in a win and move on situation. Should've done more damage in both of their first 2 games though. Had a ton of chances to do more in this one.
Some of my family. I go to Barcelona whenever I can. They've been my team since I was 14. Oh, and Barca
I did a semester in Spain in college. Loved the country. Beautiful, beautiful place. I was in Granada but went to a bunch of other cities, including Barcelona for a couple days.
It's going to be interesting because the Swiss are going to have to attack against Honduras. The question is...can they play an aggressive offensively? Honduras hasn't shown much, but they can be dangerous enough to take advantage of you if you push too much. Either way, Spain is going to have a tough time with Chile.
Barcelona is something else. I've been trying to learn Catalan for years so people don't look at me funny when I speak Spanish They don't really consider themselves a part of Spain. Kinda like Texas.

I just noticed Ivory coast has to win by 9 goals and hope portugal losses to a team that has nothing to play for and doesn't have its best player to advance. Talk about beating the odds.
Have you been to southern Spain at all? I personally preferred that part of the country. It's generally not as modernized but has a very different look and feel.
As unlikely as it is, I always expect huge letdowns from Portugal. Then again no way Ivory Coast pulls off its end of the deal.
It's got more of an ancient feel... different influences, culture, etc... All of Spain is beautiful but if you get a chance to visit Andalucia, I wouldn't pass up the opportunity.
