Depends on the UK-SL game aswell. Most importantly is that we need to win AND score AS MANY goals as possible against Algeria.

and as much as the US spends on war budget they can pay more then 400K for a coach. pathetic.

if this team does well maybe they will start paying more

    A couple of interesting scenarios:

    If...
    England beats Algeria, 1-0
    England ties Slovenia, 1-1
    USA beats Algeria, 1-0

greatest number of points in all group matches: (USA 5, England 5, Slovenia 5)
goal difference in all group matches: (+1, +1, +1)
greatest number of goals scored in all group matches: (4, 3, 4, England eliminated)
greatest number of points in matches between tied teams: (USA 1, Slovenia 1)
goal difference in matches between tied teams: (0, 0)
greatest number of goals scored in matches between tied teams: (2, 2)
drawing of lots by the FIFA Organising Committee: (would this be used to determine 1st place?)

    If...
    England beats Algeria, 2-1
    England ties Slovenia, 2-2
    USA beats Algeria, 2-1

greatest number of points in all group matches: (USA 5, England 5, Slovenia 5)
goal difference in all group matches: (+1, +1, +1)
greatest number of goals scored in all group matches: (5, 5, 5)
greatest number of points in matches between tied teams: (2, 2, 2)
goal difference in matches between tied teams: (0, 0, 0)
greatest number of goals scored in matches between tied teams: (3, 3, 4, Slovenia wins this tiebreaker)
drawing of lots by the FIFA Organising Committee: (between USA and England)

I'm not sure if I got that right and even if I did, it'll probably be irrelevant in a couple of hours.

If you are players playing on the team...you move on and forget about it yes. 2morrow they should move on and focus on Algeria.

As fans though there is nothing to lose by venting your frustration about that call.

We need to pay more for players........get the game more on television over here, mabye break it into quarters to make it more TV friendly...and up the level of interest even more.

I did here TSA officials at the airport talking soccer though, it is growing in interest...this WC is important.

Which is why that refs horrid call could be really hurtful.

So can anyone tell me what disallowed the goal, did they call offside or a foul on US? It still makes absolutely no sense I have never been this pissed off when watching a sport. If they called offside I believe the Slovenia second goal though in my mind the right call was much more offside. Also not in the picture I believe Altidore was being held later on, in that same free kick. As for yelling after the refs had they done that during the game they would have been carded. Plus the great Mali ref gave Findley a yellow card when it hit the guys face which will cause him to be suspended next game against Algeria. I wrote as my facebook status about ten minutes before they scored their second goal that this ref was the worst I have ever seen in my life.

If I'm not mistaken, the official called "holding" on Bradley.

    Good game by the U.S.

Off topic a little... what is Adidas thinking. I go online looking for the Mexico black jersey and it's sold out. Wow! So you couldnt meet demand and now you losing millions of dollars. If the team get knocked off in the next week or two, by the end of July no one is going to buy that jersey.

Anyway, yea I should have bought one a long time ago. Im sure that if I go to any store theyll be sold out. Maybe I should hit up the woodlands mall, theyre shouldnt be too many mexican fans there. lol

The rockets did the same thing. They stocked up and didnt sell Scola swingman so I had to wait months for it to be on sale and then I just finally bought it on ebay from some guy in china and a week later someone posts that they are on sale at the rockets store for half off or something towards the end of the season.

Bunch of idiots!!! I constantly kept calling the rockets shop to see if they were gonna carry them and they kept saying no, no, no.

Btw Im almost sure that ebay jersey is bootleg which makes me ANGRIER    . And then we wonder why the economy is the way it is, because companies are run by a bunch of idiots.

Speak for yourself. On a game-determining goal that late in the match, it's a ridiculous call that could very well end up costing the US advancement. b**** away people, make noise and raise hell.

[rquoter]Slovenian defender Marko Suler was adamant the referee had made the correct decision to disallow Edu’s goal and accused the Americans of roughhouse tactics.

“They were pushing and holding all the time,” Suler said. “You could see it was a foul and it was the correct decision. They did not deserve to win the game. It would not have been the correct result. We were the better team.”[/rquoter]

I'm pretty sure that looks like Slovenia holding, not the US.

I know a bear-hug when I see one, and as I said... Bradley was blantantly bear-hugged and the ref didn't care.

Slovenia should be obliterated from the map for their insolence.
