[rquoter]"I still don't know why the goal was disallowed," Bob Bradley said after the match.[/rquoter]
Who does? There was no foul, no offside.....just nothing but a great set piece, and great finish. If this was Colombia that ref would be shot.... DD
So because something is unlikely, I can't root for it to happen? The Rockets winning a championship as a #6 seed was unlikely, I guess I should have been rooting for some other outcome in '94.
How can you have a sport where the ref doesn't have to announce what the call is, right when it occurs? I keep hearing the US team saying they were never told what the call was. Can the ref just blow his whistle and point in the other direction without giving a reason?
The only call that ref could have made was a PK for the USA on Bradley being held..... That was 100% bullcrap..... DD
whatever the case, we got robbed for that 3rd goal, but it was our fault for being down 2-0 in the first place. We are fortunate to get the tie.
The three US goals were legit. There's no 'being fortunate' when you tie a game in which you outscored your opponent. Doesn't matter who scored first.
Actually got robbed of two goals, if you count the last man foul on Altidore that should have resulted in a red card and automatic penalty. I don't recall ever seeing a referee THIS bad in a world cup game.
The goal was clearly not offside. But the cards against the Slovenia is also ridiculous. 10 mins three cards? Are you serious?
