    Can someone explain to me the tie breaker?

    Lets say if Mexico lose the next game

    and South Africa or France win

    Mexico would be 1-1-1

    and either SF/France will also be 1-1-1

    who advance along with uruguay

    It would be great if Podolski scores to tie it late. He's been snakebit.

    I don't think we can win the world cup. We might play nice-looking football, but we lack a real top scorer and our defense is too weak this time around. Friedrich is not good, and Mertesacker is not top either.

    By the way, Marin is terrible today.

    Today would have been a day when we could really have used Ballack. He would have scored on a free kick (he would have also made the penalty) or he would have gotten a header in.

    As a sidenote, about half of the Serbian players play in the Bundesliga and many of them speak perfect German (like Subotic, I think he could have actually played for the German team).

    The ranking of each team in each group will be determined as follows:

    a) greatest number of points obtained in all group matches;
    b) goal difference in all group matches;
    c) greatest number of goals scored in all group matches.

    If two or more teams are equal on the basis of the above three criteria, their rankings will be determined as follows:
    d) greatest number of points obtained in the group matches between the teams concerned;
    e) goal difference resulting from the group matches between the teams concerned;
    f) greater number of goals scored in all group matches between the teams concerned;
    g) drawing of lots by the FIFA Organising Committee.

    Podolski has had a rough game, but the blame has fall on Klose.

    If australia beats Ghana, than a draw against Ghana is enough. Thanks to you 4-0 victory.

    I doubt Australia has a chance against Ghana (or Serbia).

    The Germans thought we we already world champion after winning against Australia, which is one of the weakest teams in the World Cup. Back down to earth :). Could be a good thing.

    Growing up, I really liked this player for some reason, despite barely seeing him play. I had a poster of him in my room.

    I can't even remember why I liked him. I have family that lives in Germany and stayed with them for a month. Maybe I saw him on TV or something. I can't remember.

    LOL, He is the most hated german player by the Dutch (I'm not saying he deserved it, but he was really disliked here)

    It will be interesting... the game against Germany for Australia has at least meant the coach has come under pressure for his stupid setup and not playing Breciano, Kewell or Jesus. On first game form we looked the weakest but coming in we were ranked above a lot.. we're the top team from Asia and other asian teams have won already.... so I don't think we're without a chance with im guessing a lot more positive formation. This WC has shown no team should be dismissed. Spain, Germany, France have all lost games no one would of thought they would and even NZ managed a draw when everyone thought they were easily the worst team in the tourny.

    If we beat Ghana tomorrow its going to setup a ripper of a last group round. 4 teams on 3 points going into the last game.

    That would be best for the German team because then a draw against Ghana would suffice.
