[Football] FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa Final Draw (seedings)

I think the US wins its group. England is great at choking on a grand scale.

I like South Africa to take down Mexico. The home crowd, the passion and the history are all on their side. Plus Mexico away from their local fans is not a recipe for success.

Anyways..The States should watch out for us. We playin some good ass Soccer and our Momentum could get way higher in the Africans cup,We got the weakest group there.

 

Argentina got it easy. If they don't make it out Maradona will be stoned.


England vs US will be the game to watch in their group. Other than that both teams should move on. Good thing this game is on Saturday.

I have access to tickets through FIFA, but can't make the trip. I've already told my boss to put me down for 2014 in Brazil.

 

Aussie here. We got a fairly tough group with Ghana, Germany and Serbia...I guess no game will be an easy one but all we will probably give ourselves a chance. Germany first up will be the key for us.

 

I'm going. Luckily USA's group games are all relatively close to one another, it should make traveling to and from the games easier. Now I just have to get tickets.

USA should make it out of their group, but it depends on if they show up to play or not.

And I could see any of the teams from Group A making it to the next round. I wouldn't say it's the toughest group, but factoring in South Africa being the host it's one of the most evenly matched groups.

 

Wait..you have an opportunity to buy tickets, but can't go?...Uh...I don't have access...and I would like to go...just saying.

Think the key game for us (Australia) will be Ghana. We're the type of team that will be able to force a draw with Germany, but I see Ghana as the big game we must win.


I was hoping we'd get England, New Zealand or Italy in our pool, but its not to be. We will be in with a chance of facing England if we can get out of the group, which would be great.

Swoly, I' am a hardcore fan of El Tri, but come on buddy. I even know France is the head of that group. France is not the same monster it used to be but they are still the superior team of that group. I think Mexico will do fine in the group though. Many people are overlooking the fact that this team is new and different from that of 3-4 years ago. Can't wait to see Vela, Guardado and Gio perform at the WC.
