Well, I think United deserved at least a share of the points. Not sure why Arsenal can't play that way the whole game - it's like they waited to go down a goal before having any urgency. That's something we've seen all too often from this team which is why we lose to the Fulham's et al. But then again ManU seemed to go the other direction after the goal.

So far we've beaten United twice, Liverpool three times, and drawn with Chelsea. If Arsene can keep this team together long enough to become consistent against lesser opponents, they are going to be scary.

The only thing rarer than Henry scoring with a header is..

Rooney scoring with a header, LOL

Well done Gunners! Results this weekend have gone exactly as I hoped for.. Bolton got hammered 5-1 as well, leaving the big four five points clear of everyone else

(I know Everton won, but that's an insignificant blemish :p)

42 points left to play for..

Johnny O'Shea may have just cemented the title as a 10 man United team scored an injury time winner at Anfield. It will interesting to see how Chelsea react later today at Pompei. Whether you love them or hate them, you have to admit its really starting to look like this is United's year.

They've not only played well all year but they also are getting the breaks when they need them. SAF commented on this after the game, how you need to play well and also get the breaks. Definitely is looking good for you. Never would have thought this a few years back but better you than Chelsea.

We've haven't played well for the last month, since our demolition at White Hart Lane, but we've managed to not drop a point in the league, advance to the quarters of the FA Cup, and are looking good to advance to the last 8 of the Champion's League. I think that's really the sign that this just may be our year. Only 7 more win and the title is ours...

Man U got lucky. The safe from Van der sar on the shot of Crouch was great.

On one hand i want Liverpool to win(since they are my favorite team in the PL, I like arsenal also). But i do not want chelsea to become champion, so i can life with the loss of liverpool since it was against Man U. BTW chelsea was also lucky.

I'm looking forward to the CL. I'm curious if Liverpool can get the upset against Barcelona, and if PSv can upset Arsenal.

Not that it matters much, save for putting the nail in the hammer's coffin - but West Ham and Tottenham just played probably the most entertaining game of the season on FSC 4-3, with a crazy last few minutes and a literally last few seconds winner.

United hammered Bolton today 4-1. Rooney with two very well taken goals and Ronaldo with three assists. Ronaldo has really changed since the World Cup, its getting pretty close to handing him the World Player of the Year. 16 goals and 11 assists in the Premiership.

    6 more wins...

Paul Robinson scored for Tottenham today. Yes, the GK.

The FA should just hand Man-U the title already ;)

RocketFann007, you think we're going to win the trebble?

Ronaldo has been amazing, and I was as critical as anyone for his flopping but since the WC he has really curtailed that. His play was great in the WC but his acting really overshadowed what he accomplished. I don't think he is the best player in the world but is well on his way. He still needs to do it in CL and do it consistently.

The amazing thing is that he is doing this at a time when all the odds were against him with the whole Rooney incident in the WC. He was the most hated man in England and is still booed everywhere he goes. He has channeled that into his play rather than let it distract him.

The scary thing is that he is only 21! The other scary thing is that Real Madrid wants to take him away.

Check out 4-4-2 magazine, there is a great interview with him. Also check out "World Soccer", there is a really good interview with Ruud who discusses the blow up with Fergie and Van Basten.

Check out the one-two btw Rooney and Ronaldo, the pace both showed is incredible, and Rooney's little flick over the keeper is a thing of beauty!

I know this an EPL thread, but this classic in La Liga is worth a view. A hat-trick for Messi:

No, I don't. I don't think we'll be able to win the CL. We've been pretty bad in Europe this season, but have been lucky enough to get some good draws. I actually think Roma will knock us out.

I think the definitive summary of my football knowledge was voicing the opinion a few years back that I'd rather have Jose Antonio Reyes than CRonaldo.

    Yep, I'm smart.

Argh, sometimes its tough being an Arsenal fan what with Thierry being about as cocky as they get...and now that he's struggling, people are starting to wake up about that, although 10 goals in the ELP isin't really that bad. Arsenal's full of shady characters, Wenger included.

Still, decent standings. I'll take third in the EPL with games in hand and two solid victories over Man U any season ;) .

Until Ronaldo stops diving, I won't consider him the best player in the world. He's done it numerous times even since the WC.
