Alright guys, this is the first time I have played FF and also the first time I have posted in this sub forum I think. 10 team yahoo league I had the 4th pick and grabbed Rogers after the top 3 rb's were gone. So how bad is my team?

    Great draft except:

10 team league you should have better options than Branch (Welker/Lloyd/Gronk/Hernandez and probably the RBs get more looks than Branch) on the waiver wire. I wouldn't keep 2 defenses either, since Texans should be a good start every week, and you'll only need a defense for one week (which you can usually find one with a good matchup on the waiver wire). Keeping a potential sleeper is more valuable.

Wow. I actually read the rules wrong, I thought you had to have a defense and a special teams pick lol whoops :(.

Would you drop the NY defense for Mike Williams (TB - WR) or Michael Bush (CB -RB) ?

Here's a list of the available off players. Thanks for helping with my newb-ness to FF.

Not bad, though your RB's are mostly not involved in the passing game.

You've got terrible depth at WR in a year with unprecedented depth at the position. I didn't even realize Branch was still in the league.

You probably took Gronk too high considering TE isn't required so there's no TE tier dropoff effect. And you're only carrying one real sleeper, Wright, and historically, rookie WR's struggle in year 1. Plus - 3TE's when you can only start one, not to mention you have a top 2 TE already. Doesn't make sense at all to me. Should have looked at high ceiling RB/WR instead of TE's. You'll probably struggle to trade them too since they aren't required.

Wow, I wish my league had that much quality on waiver wire. You need to drop Branch and NYG and grab a WR (I'd go Mike Williams based on what is there) and one of the starting RBs (I'd go Kevin Smith, and then trade him if he has a big game).

I didn't notice the no TE requirement, but snagging Charles & Rodgers was a great pickup to still end up with Gronk (whether which between Gronk and Charles went in round 2).

It is unfortunate his waiver wire is completely absent a solid receiver.

I thought you could start 2 TE's. :( Probably should have figured out the rules but they invited me in a couple hours before the draft.

See if you can get Malcom Floyd, Nate Washington or even Robert Meachem via waiver wire or a trade for Davis or Gonzalez. Never know, you might get lucky. Probably won't be able to get a more highly regarded receiver, but those guys could pay off.

Edit: I also like Jon Baldwin as a big time sleeper. Sidney Rice is a decent sleeper as well, though I'm not high on his chances of being healthy.

Try to trade somebody with a crappy TE Vernon Davis for a WR upgrade. Also Clay Matthews is a poor IDP choice, go to a site like idpguru.com and browse your waiver wire for a stud.

John Baldwin or Malcom Floyd for my last receiver spot, what do you think?

Malcom Floyd. If he's healthy, he's the #1 guy for Phillip Rivers.

Malcom wasn't out there unfortunately when I looked. Made the other moves suggested so here's my lineup.

From that list I'd actually advise to take Donald Brown, he's got the best chance to breakout this year, with a rookie QB that will be looking to dump off more often than not and a team that will want to run the ball to win games, that's a good mix for a top 15 (at the least) RB. Plus he's got fantastic explosion and vision when hitting the hole.

That would be awesome. I love Garcon with RG3.

I'm curious to see how involved he is in the passing game.

O-line isn't very strong, and a question of if he can stay healthy are his biggest weakness.

Would you take Donald Brown over Michael Bush?

I have no idea but Bush is splitting carries...
