I didn't see the game, but read that our boys did well. Can anyone who watched the game vs Honduras comment on how the Dynamo players involved did?
Stuart played very well, set up both goals-1st on a corner to Clarence Goodson, 2nd on a give and go with Chingy that stuey crossed to Cooper in front of the goal. Ching played his usual solid game, he held the ball up and took a knocking from the Honduran defenders all game long.
Wow talk about a dramatic game. Missing the penalty kick, scoring with 5 minutes to go then allowing them to score 30 seconds before the game ended. Excited about Sunday!
DaDark-one, I find it difficult to believe that you, as technologically knowledgeable as you are, had to ask "who won" when all this informative stuff is at your hands at a second's notice. For real, you couldn't just Googletize it? DrLudicrous, I agree. So... do you think you want to read the Mexican team's twitter and chatterbox comments on the estadounidenses? I bet they hate sharing the plane. I bet Memo Ochoa won't take that comment seriously and just laugh about it. FYI, Mexico shared an airplane with the Ticos last week to Chicago. PiPdAdY33, you realize I said those comments about us and the ticos BEFORE last night's game, right? How close was I?
Ching is a great clean up player, I think this current roster asks him to be more of a figurehead, which isn't his game. He and DRo worked well together because DRo is like a lightening rod, and Ching would often go unnoticed. I think he's pretty decent at headers, but the last game begs to differ with me. I like bringing up Holden. He knows how to work with Brian, but is it enough? Personally, if Bradley doesn't work out, they should just bring up the entire Houston Dynamo roster, Kinnear included, haha.
Speaking of Becks: Just got this in the ol' email box. I personally think it's eff'd up there are MORE MEXICANS in the poster.
PiPdAdY33, you realize I said those comments about us and the ticos BEFORE last night's game, right? How close was I? [/QUOTE] Well I had not seen them play in ages so I had no idea what we were in for.
I' am glad to see that La Seleccion is finally imrpoving a bit. They just need to stick with Gio and Vela. I don't see how the US can lose this game though.
Gonna be a good game, the US "B" team cruises into the finals. What level of a team are the Tri-colores fielding? DD
It seems to me that half of them are starting material. They're missing some good players especially on defense (R Marquez).
it's good to see Stu getting some love. Matter of time before he packs up his bag and heads for Europe.
