Wow, havn't watched the EPL since last season...

The only reason i watch it is because of Arsenal...

I turn on the TV and there is no Henry...

Went to research and saw he is gone :(

Still, Van persie/Fabregas are fantastic as always, even though they are playing beautiful football as always, Henry shouldn't have left!! AHHH

Come on, Schmeichel was a good 3 feet off the line when Van Persie kicked it. The linesman should've given a re-kick, but I guess he was too busy watching the clouds or something

Anyways, I can't complain about how this season has gone so far. 3 points out first with a game in hand, and we're pretty much on to the CL group stages barring a catastrophe.

Didn't notice Schmeichel has moved towards van Persie during that penalty at all, not by myself, not mentioned by the commentators, no complaint from Arsenal players too.

If you were referring that Schmeichel was jumping along his own goal line before the penalty kick was taken, it is allowed now as FIFA has changed the rule since 1997.

Same thing happened to the carrier in Hong Kong too. At least you got to watch another match. I heard that the poor commentators of that channel had talked for the entire match (the Madrid's darby I believe) without a second of broadcast of the game.

Actually the dutch shows also couldn't show Real and Barca, untal a day after it was played. They had the same problems. I think next games they will be able to show those games.

I'm happy with Liverpool and arsenal, To bad Man U wo of the spurs.

I was watching that game and the announcer immediately said he swallowed his tongue b/c his teammate rushed to him as he fell down and was trying to pry his mouth open and pull his tongue back. It was scary b/c they zoomed in on the replay and his eyes were rolling up.

Yeah I think it is a worldwide thing but here in the states they did not show the game on tape delay either. I was really pissed b/c the main reason I got gol tv is to watch Barca!!! They better get their ish together or I am cancelling!

That's a call they only make in youth soccer. Every keeper is at least a yard off their line before the shot. It's a good play. You cut off the angle and it's easier to move side to side with a little forward momentum. Make the ref call it back if he wants to.

    Champions League draws:

Group A: Liverpool, Porto, Marseille, Besiktas

Group B: Chelsea, Valencia, FC Schalke 04, Rosenborg

Group C: Real Madrid, Werder Bremen, Lazio, Olympiakos

Group D: AC Milan, Benfica, Celtic, Shakhtar Don'tsk

Group E: Barcelona, Lyon, VfB Stuttgart, Rangers

Group F: Manchester United, Roma, Sporting Lisbon, Dynamo Kiev

Group G: Internazionale, PSV Eindhoven, CSKA Moscow, Fenerbahce

Group H: Arsenal, Sevilla or AEK Athens, Steaua Bucharest, Slavia Prague

Couldn't be happier with Arsenal's group (unless Sevilla loses to AEK, obviously). Out of the EPL thread, ManU got the toughest draw, while group E looks like this year's group of death.

Interesting draw for Freddy Adu...gets drawn in the group with the team he was linked to days before he signed w/ Benfica.

Daniel Agger and Xabi Alonso are both out 6 weeks for Liverpool. That's a major blow to the team.

Mourinho to Tottenham sounds right to me. :D

This guy is receiving 20mil pound pay-off, in addition to that 2 EPL trophies, what a fruitful career!

Don't forget the Champions League title he won with lowly Porto (Granted he had the genius Deco).

I always liked Mourihno, he is JVGesk in that he can be so serious but makes smart ass jokes. I have a feeling Ronaldinho will be in a Chelsea uniform next season (ugggghhh.....puke)

Liverpool drew 0-0 so that is great. Did you all see Torres' bicycle that almost won the game, wow. He is an amazing talent.

I know everyone is on the Fabregas bandwagon but there are so many youngsters having sensational seasons so far: W. Sneidjer (the Dutch Beckham replacement at Real Madrid, this guy is amazing so far), Van Persie, and Messi have been great too.

Man-U vs. Chelsea tomorrow at 11 AM on FSC!!!! I have an outdoor game so can't watch it live :( but can't wait to see it later on Sunday.
