Go back through thread and you'll see I never trash talked or predicted a score. I had a gut feeling we were going to lose this game after the playing out of our minds against ranked teams the last three weeks.

I'm still proud of this team as we were not even expected to be this good this year. Next year was what we were all looking at.

Props to Tech. They beat us fair and square. Yeah, the dropped interception sucked, Shipley dropping a sure TD sucked, but it came down to stopping them on their home field and we did not do it. We left WAY too much time on the clock after the go ahead TD. Tech executed, they beat us, game over. No excuses.

Rockets are 3-0, so we've got that going for all of us. ;)

Don't call me out when you would be doing the same thing had the exact same thing happened but roles were reversed. Had we not completely sucked the first half the outcome would be different and every single Tech fan knows this. It's not like yall blew us out, yall won on the last play of the last drive because our freshman cornerback couldn't handle a reciever like Crabtree. Not to mention we didn't have Cosby or Arakpo. In terms of play tonight up until the end of the 3rd quarter, this wasn't the same Texas team that went 8-0. Regardless, no excuse for the poor play. Enjoy the win.

mindboggling. absolutely mindboggling. to somehow pull a chance to take the lead out of our asses like that and to just go braindead...i can't forgive mack, colt or greg for that. mack and greg have been coaching forever, and colt is a RS junior, and they all 3 threw a title away because they're somehow stupider than me, a guy just watching the game. we had all the time in the world and the knowledge that our D was having a very tough time with their offense, and we don't run clock. me and this other guy who i was watching with were just dumbfounded. we had 3:16 left at the 20 yard line with 20 seconds, and i believe on consecutive plays we snapped with about 10, 20, 30, and 20. that's 80 seconds, meaning tech should have never gotten it back with anything more than maybe 20 seconds, assuming, they used their TO. tech players kept getting injured and then when the officials would wind the 40 second clock, colt would rush up there like a dumbass and snap it as quickly as he could.

what the mother****ing **** colt! take your time! and tell him to take his time mack. my goodness, i just can't believe. anyone remember the usc rose bowl? mack very wisely wasted every second he could on our last drive, even as the clock ticked below 30 seconds. we didn't use timeouts, we wasted time before plays. now against tech, we're practically running the hurry up. that cost us the game and a national championship.

this was a classic UT comeback until then. an unmitigated disaster to start the game and get down huge, continuing errors while we somehow get back in it, and then taking the lead late in the game while doing everything right. except this time, we did everything wrong at the end.

inexplicably not running the clock. muschamp inexplicably rushing 4 on the last drive. are you ****ing kidding me! we could not get any pressure all game rushing 4 but decided maybe now we magically would, and this left our ****ty-ass secondary out to dry. especially since rushing 2 or 3 could've made TTU waste time on each play, which would've been huge.

but even after all that, all blake gideon's sorry ass has to do is catch an INT my sister could catch and we're undefeated. and not only doesn't he catch it, this MFer barely even grazes it as it hits the ground. inexcusable, i don't give a **** if you are on defense. that makes chris webber's timeout look like an outright clutch play.

having said all that, if we ****ing drop below oklahoma, after years of never being able to pass them after they beat us, i will kill someone. we just went through 4 games of hell, won the first 3, and then lost to #7 on the road on the last play of the game. we better get some respect.

    trolling? whatever.

I like CFB.....but Texas is probably gonna win out, TT will probably lose at least one if not 2 games to schools Texas beat, and still have to let another school(s) or a friggen computer dictate their national title hopes, not to mention, Texas is probably better than both teams that will make the BCS game........and oh yeah.....friggen USC.

the oilers? yea, I remember the Oilers......they were the biggest reason why I decided to be a Chiefs fan(long before the oilers left).......go ahead, take your shots at KC, you won't say anything I don't already know.

Wreck 'em Tech! Great game! Texas played well but I think having 4 straight games against ranked teams took it's toll.

we pretty much played the biggest piece of crap game we could've played, and were still blake gideon making the easiest interception ever from winning. y'all are still basically the same ol', same ol' tech, just slightly better (and playing us at home). osu may or may not beat you, but ou will smack y'all down as usual in norman (and then jump us in the polls and piss me off).

A loss towards the end of the season is hard to come back from

It's more like, what have you done lately than we beat them kind of thing

I agree with you, but voters only care about your most recent game.

Its why the system sucks as is.

Is it so damn hard for UT fans just to say the following: We got beat. Congrats. No, y'all come back with if this guy wasn't hurt it would be different. Typical UT half ass praise.

I'm here to eat my share.

Tech manhandled us in the first half... then we finally got something going in the second half.

I felt like there were questionable no-calls and calls during our drives, but still... if Gideon catches that tip ball in the 4th, we win the game plain and simple.

    Good game, Tech. :(

exactly, as bad as it felt, we were shooting ourselves in the foot every chance we got as much as we were being outplayed. how many easy drops did we have in the 1st half? shipley dropping a touchdown while their WR's made all sorts of great catches. colt not being able to throw for crap after being perfect all year and even getting pick-6'd, us dropping the game-clinching INT, our best defensive player getting injured for the game.

My first post was out of complete anger at our play on the last drive and should be ignored. Everything francis 4 prez said in his reply was what I was trying to type out but couldn't. We got beat, congrats.

Sad night in Austin tonight :(

Agreed. Completely pathetic. "If we would've not thrown that INT!" .. if Crabtree would not have lost that fumble? You can play that game all day.

    Wreck 'Em
