I think texas tech will for sure be in front of florida and OU

Probably looking at 1 bama, 2 PSU, 3 TTU, florida, ou, texas

I do expect TTU to lose to OSU next weekend though

then don't watch CFB and troll on these threads.

At least schools don't move cities like the Oilers did to houston.. if you were alive when that happened

Sort of ....dropped TD pass by Shipley, Colt throwing an INT for a TD....the game was not as far away as you are saying.

One day we'll abolish all of this crap and get done to an ACTUAL playoff system. Until then, may the best 18 loss team win :)

I am heart broken right now. Tech played a great game, and UT turned it on way too late in the game. I'll be rooting for Tech against OU. I am going to wallow in my misery right now, so y'all have fun trash talking.

Once again, I'm just saying that people should look down upon Texas just because Tech upset them. They still have the better athletes.

HOWEVER, like I said earlier, athletic ability doesn't always win out, and most of the time that can be negated by good collective team execution and schemes, and not to mention home field advantage. Tech had all of those ingredients mixing tonight. So again, props to Tech, and they fully deserve the win. UT just.......choked.

Depends on what happens with OSU-OU as well. If 3 teams are tied with 1-loss to another of those, then the team with the highest BCS standing makes it. Texas probably has the computer advantage having Missouri in their schedule. Tech's crappy non-conference schedule would hurt them a lot. But a lot of it will come down to the polls and thus style polls. If OU rolls over OSU/Tech, that probably puts them highest in the polls and in the driver's seat given that Texas's wins over OU and OSU were really close.

The way this season is going, this may be the best chance yet at blowing it up.

Absolute BS. We messed up so many times and yet still had the game up until the Crabtree catch. McCoy not throwing that pic-6 completely changes the whole outcome of the game. A special "WTF?!" to Blake Gideon. How did you drop the INT?! I almost threw my remote at the TV. Disgusting looking at some of our mistakes.

No congrats to Tech from me. Absolute luck on their part. We waste two more seconds off the clock on the previous drive or our special teams doesn't allow a 38 yard return and we win. I want to see OSU slaughter them in Lubbock and cause absolute chaos in the Big 12.

    Hook 'em

But wouldn't the Big 12 get two into the BCS?

I think OU beats TT and OSU...and we have a 3 way tie at the top.....OU and UT would get into the BCS.....I think...

Tech outgained us by 200 yards - and it was only that close because of the 4th quarter. At one point, they had outgained us 250 yards to 20 yards or something like that, and yet were only up by 12 or so. We were lucky to not have been blown out that first half, I think. The dropped pass and INT hurt, but those were part of our bad execution all night long (until the 4th).

this is why I wanted Tech to win so bad. This dork is a typical UT fan. Y'all are the biggest sore losers on the face of the earth.

Yeah, the B12 will definitely have two teams in the BCS - but the one that wins the B12 South has the best chance at making a national title game. Which two is hard to say, though. It's amazing that Texas has played Tech, OU, and OSU, but none of those teams have played each other year. Those three games and how they play out (not just W/L but scoring margins and the like) will decide which two make it to the BCS.

And hopefully whichever team does make it doesn't have to go play Boise State or Utah. Or really, even the ACC or Big East Champ. Hopefully they get to play the SEC runner-up (Florida or Alabama).

okay so let me get this straight. As a texas fan we want:

    OSU beating TT
    OU beating TT.
    OU beating OSU

then it would make it a two way tie between us and OU and we own the tiebreaker advantage.

    OR

    OSU beats OU
    TT beats OSU
    OU beats TT

that would make it a three way tie between us, tech and OSU.

and we would most likely have the highest ranking

Or OSU winning out. Best for us is Tech losing both their games -then we control our destiny. If they split, then we need whichever one they beat to beat the other. A two-way tie between Tech and Texas is the definite worst option.

The big 12 and the sec should leave the BCS and just play each other in bowl games so that #1 b12 plays #1 sec and so forth

Tough one to stomach but Texas missed a lot of opportunities tonight and when a team doesn't take advantage, endings like this happen.

Tech got it done, but I don't see them winning at Oklahoma, especially after they upset OU last year.

Congrats to Tech. Biggest win ever.
